Protocol spin-off launches this week! (Patreon)

Hi folks,
It is nearly October, which is always a busy time of year for us here at Rusty Towers! We have so much going on; here’s just a few bits to get us started right at the beginning of the month!
Firstly, this week we begin to share Sheeple Chase! Sheeple Chase is an official spin-off of The Magnus Protocol, written by Sasha Sienna and directed by April Sumner. We have been able to create this 6-episode spin-off thanks to the generous donations we received during the Kickstarter campaign for The Magnus Protocol – a massive thank you to everyone who helped make this a reality!
Sheeple Chase is a fictional conspiracies podcast, hosted by true believer, Georgie Barker, and sceptic, Celia Ripley. In each episode, they’ll discuss a different conspiracy theory – in this first episode, they investigate musicians who are rumoured to have been replaced by a look-a-likes.
Sheeple Chase is made with the help of Georgie’s faithful canine companion, Captain Barker. On Friday, exclusively for our paid members, we will be sharing an interview with her talented BA (Bark Actor), Loki, who has promised to give us a never-before-seen glimpse behind the canine microphone.
In some news from the RQ Network, today we are hosting a feed drop on Rusty Quill Gaming from Myth & Moon. Myth & Moon is a high fantasy Dungeons & Dragons podcast that weaves two storytellers into a single world of conflict, crafting duelling narratives of heroism and villainy. The hosts of the show, Cooper and James, work in tandem to unveil mystery, intrigue and conflict in two separate solo campaigns that each share one world of conflict. James’ episodes portray the story from the Hero’s perspective – a struggle of courage, redemption, and hope. Meanwhile, Cooper’s tread a different path in the shadows as the Villain, embroiled in devious schemes, treachery, and a lust for power.
You can listen to the first two episodes of Myth & Moon on the Rusty Quill Gaming feed now, or find the whole show wherever you find podcasts!
Finally, this week we have another amazing show joining the RQ Network! Roll Britannia is a weekly, comedy, Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition podcast featuring six players who have little to no experience in dungeons or dragons. The crew first set sail in 2020, and have been making hilarious, chaotic actual play episodes ever since.
Join a team of all British players as they set out across the high seas on a dangerous, but hopefully profitable adventure.

As always, we have an exclusive interview for our paid members from Dungeon Master James, to tell us a bit more about the show.
Tell us who you are and a bit more about Roll Britannia
Roll Britannia is a British Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition comedy Podcast. started back in 2020 when we all had lots of time on our hands... for some reason... It's first and foremost a comedy show which starts with 5 of us playing D&D, mostly for the first time, (even the DM James), later Sophie joined the show, and now all 6 of us have been sailing the high seas of podcasting, pirating our way through puzzles, monsters, and innuendo traps. The show is pirate themed and full of homebrew shenanigans, and the DM James focuses heavily on the rule of cool, to drive the story forward and give the players and listeners a wild and unpredictable story. So far the crew have been playing one long running campaign, one day they might make it to the end of this story, but to keep things fresh in the meantime, each arc has a unique theme (obviously a collection of all of DM James' favourite books, games, movies, and tv shows - it is D&D after all), including a murder mystery, highseas adventures, wild west esque challenges, and a carefully planned out world of lore and stories that help bring the whole story to life.
What got you into podcasting?
As a graduate with a degree in radio, and having worked in commercial radio for a number of years I (DM James) have loved the idea of podcasting for years, and with the time afforded by lockdown I finally decided that it was the moment to start a podcast, so I virtually sidled up to my friends and rolled well on either persuasion or deception and thus Roll Britannia was born (and yes like all good radio features, the idea for the name came first then the idea for the show)
What are you most proud of about Roll Britannia?
I love the amazing fan base of wonderful people from around the world, who all mirror our desire for more love and laughter in the world, and the creative story that me and the crew have managed to weave over the last five years (which probably contains more dick jokes that I initially imagined but is certainly part of our world).
You can listen to Roll Britannia wherever you find podcasts or on the Rusty Quill website. If you enjoy the show, please consider leaving a rating or a review, as this is a great way to support a show!
