Hi folks,

The week of Hallowe’en is always a huge one for us here at Rusty Quill, and this year is no different – let's get straight into everything that is happening!

Firstly, this week on the Magnus feed we have the fifth episode of Sheeple Chase, where Georgie and Celia discuss some Drama and look into the conspiracies around “new” Coca Cola. As always, this will be available in early access on Tuesday at 4pm GMT and on the public feed on Thursday at 4pm GMT. Please note, the UK has switched from BST to GMT, so this may affect episode release times in your timezone.

Next up, as you may already know, Knock Thrice’s The Magnus Protocol apparel collection overstock sale and second pre-order opens today! Very excitingly, as well as a discount code for the pre-order, Knock Thrice has given Rusty Quill paid members one hour early access to the collections. Simply go to the Knock Thrice website at 3pm EST / 7pm GMT and enter the password PUMPKIN-PEOPLE to explore the site early. If you missed the full announcement at the end of last week, you can find that, including an exclusive discount code, here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/knock-thrice-141966626 .

In even more merchandise news, we have an announcement we are very excited about.

Tea, thanks to the influence of Martin Blackwood, has long been associated with The Magnus Archives. We are so excited, therefore, to announce a new collaboration with The Gilded Teafling.

We’ve wanted to create a tea blend for The Magnus Archives for a very long time, and The Gilded Teafling is the perfect partner for this.

Introducing The Magnus Archives Loose Leaf Tea & Coffee Collection: bespoke blended teas and coffee inspired by some of the most memorable Magnus moments.

We’ve worked closely with the team at The Gilded Teafling to develop blends that both truly embody The Magnus Archives and will appeal to both tea connoisseurs and newbies alike.  There is more than one loose leaf tea aficionado at Rusty Towers, who have extensively sampled the array of drinks for the last few months before this announcement.

The Gilded Teafling have given our paid members exclusive early access starting today to the collection pre-order, as well as a discount code for free domestic and international shipping: just enter code “MEMBERSHIP” at the checkout for orders over $70.

“The Archivist” is a spiced Earl Grey with ginger, cinnamon, orange peel and white peppercorn that gives an invigorating bite while also seeming to look right back at you.

“Hilltop Road”, for folks who prefer non-black teas, is a mango and nectarine herbal tea with chamomile and lemongrass, creating a tea that is both relaxing and reminiscent of a spiderweb.

“Dekkar’s Addendum” is a smoky blackberry pu’er tea with lapsang souchong and cacao nibs. It has a dark, fruity flavour combined with the less well-known, earthy taste of pu’er.

“Martin’s Domain” is a foggy lavender crème Earl Grey, available in both caffeinated and decaffeinated options. Perfect as a milky bedtime tea, or for a midafternoon pick-me-up for you and a co-worker.

Finally, “Burning Desire” is a dark roast coffee, inspired by Agnes Montague and the café she frequented.

The teas will come in bespoke tins featuring Magnus-inspired designs. Additionally, there are a number of bundles which include your choice of tea, a mug, and a strainer with a Magnus-themed charm, while offering a saving over buying the products separately.

The collection will be available publicly from 30th October, however, head to https://the-gilded-teafling.atelier.sale/magnuspatreon-earlyaccess now for exclusive early access for our paid members.

Items are available to pre-order and are estimated to begin shipping in Spring 2026.

We very much hope you enjoy this tea-riffic collection!

Finally, we cap off the most exciting week of the year with our very first performance of The Hilltop on Thursday 30th October. We have been working towards this since the Protocol Kickstarter finished in 2022, and it is truly wonderful to finally be able to share it with you. If you are attending, we can’t wait to see you there!

Here is our full schedule for this week:

Tuesday 28th October

Sheeple Chase 5 – Coke Conspirators (Paid Member & Kickstarter Backers) (4pm GMT)

Thursday 30th October

Sheeple Chase 5 – Coke Conspirators (Public) (4pm GMT)

Have a good week all!

Hi there - which are you referring to? Both Gilded Teafling teas and the Knock Thrice Protocol collection will be available for US orders. The Hilltop play is opening in London, UK, but it is being filmed by professional videographers. We will be sharing information on how this will be distributed at a later date.

Never mind, I misread the time haha

Rq folks describing the teas: A delicious melange of delicate pu-erh leaves and a compliment of fruity notes and whispers of herbal romance RQ folks describing coffee: it's fucking burned beans. Deal with it.

All I have to say about the tea is: that lighthouse design sure is something and the irony that The Archivist gets a “spicy” tea blend. It all sounds amazing though! 💖

Is there, or will there be, any way of getting the accessories OUTSIDE of bundles? (E.g. if I want the spoon but nobody in my household currently drinks coffee.)

Megan Dawn

The password isn’t working for me

I am also curious about this! I don't see a way to get the spoon and the strainer without buying the big bundle (or two smaller bundles and by then you may as well have gotten the larger bundle).

SO EXCITED about this tea/coffee , But was there any info on if the accessories (spoon, mug, strainer, charms) will be able to be purchased separately to the tea?. Because as much as I love tea , I don't know if I wanna get them all but I definitely don't want to miss out on the accessories either

ElpisBlythe

I'll check out the teas after I get paid this Friday.

Hi, it looks like the Tea pre-order has a discount, and even though my order is over $70 it will not also apply the free shipping discount. Can you clarify if we're able to use both the pre-order discount and the free shipping discount on the same order?
