Glad-tidings (Patreon)

Hi folks,

The most festive of wishes from all of us at Rusty Quill!

The holiday season is truly upon us and we know many of you will be travelling or otherwise in need of something to listen to. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of festive (and not so festive) specials from the Rusty Quill archives, guaranteed to keep you entertained this Christmas!

Christmas, Stellar Firma style (Citizens+)

Deep in the heart of the mighty ship of Stellar Firma, mysterious artefacts have been discovered. They are a primitive form of 2D entertainment stored on a device called a ‘DVD’. In completely unrelated news, lucky, lucky Citizen Employee Line Manager Hartro Piltz has had a suitable hobby chosen for her from a Board-approved list! Film Appreciation! And I.M.O.G.E.N. is just the computer to guide her along the narrow path of Appreciating them in a Board-approved manner.

In these two festive-ish episodes, Harto must appreciate two classic Christmas movies: Die Hard and Jingle all the Way

In the meantime, this week on the Magnus feed is the third episode of The Listening Club, our light-hearted end of year special game of Monte Cook’s The Magnus Archives Roleplaying Game. Join GM Jonathan Sims and players Anusia Battersby, Lowri Ann Davies, Pip Gladwin and Ian Hayles as they continue their investigation into mysterious podcast production company, The Mouldy Pencil. After listening to episode 100 and discovering their friend June is missing, our podcast enthusiasts must figure out the meaning behind the mini disc messages…

As always, episodes are released in early access on Tuesday at 4pm GMT, and on the public feed on Thursday at 4pm GMT.

Have a wonderful week all!
