It took me a while to get what was odd about Gertrude's voice in this - just like when John has lost himself in a statement, there's a very slight Welsh accent! Bravo to the actor.

I've got some questions (and no twitter to ask over there): why does the statement number not match up with the day of the statement given or the day recorded? And didn't Gertrude die in May 2015?

It's pretty safe to say she died somewhere between March 15 (when Elias found her desk empty and covered in blood) and May 15th (when she is reported as dead, it being 2 months after her disappearance).

The circus music near the end spooked me quite a bit. I thought i was hearing things, behind me. Really good sound works. And it feels like the story going to pickup. Excited for upcoming episodes

Right, so a mixture of mystery and mixup on Jonny's part. The case number is 0141010 (I've changed this on the episode description, although players likely cached the original so you may not see the change). The apparent discrepancy between the date of this recording and Gertrude's reported disappearance still stands.
