BATTLE JAZZ HANDS!

Victoria Lapteva

Huh, I don't think I saw the "Mentions of bears" warning before. This must be a particularly bearsome episode, I'm very excited.

sAZAndorable

A great episode, like every week. Love the horror of the image of the last bit. Chilling. Love it. Also everyone's banter, ehehehehe. Hope the fact that it didn't happen doesn't stop artists drawing the bear on a camel

Hamid was frozen, iirc, but you very well may be onto something (a similar shroom popped up at Shoin's), oh my gosh...

God I love Wilde

Full Metal MereBros needs to be a thing, just saying

There was a plant that puffed pollen into Bertie's face and paralysed(?) him. I'm coming up to Kew in my current relisten and have Thoughts (one of the plant monsters comes from Peru, was transported in a crate with Latin written on it; the silver bell plants apparently look like plants Cel's seen in the Americas... Augusta Byron said she would choose to go to south America or Italy if freed... what's going on that links the ethereal plane, Rome, Peru, Svalbard, and the Garden? And possibly London)

"Gosh I'm fabulous" - there's the Wilde we know and love!

I am intrigued if this ep is considered more bearful than the eps that took place on the back of a giant bear. Also wondering whether Rusty Quill's warning policy is based on https://xkcd.com/2381/

A friend of mine went "huh, content warning for petrification? What sort of situation could lead to someone having a petrification trigger?" and then 45 min later "OKAY OKAY YEAH YUP THAT NEEDED A CONTENT WARNING INDEED"

Sophia Smithers

Helen’s reaction to the dwarfs in this episode is EVERYTHING 😄

I actually started relistening (my 4th time) specifically for the Kew Gardens dungeon after this episode!

Mel Andrews

I love the contrast between "battle jazz hands" and the ethereal humming of Wilde in the background.

NoyneKehmaya

I just loved "Wilde"'s humming in these episodes <3<3<3 It was so soothing in the background, I just can't ...
