Skeleton Species Progression

T1: Skeleton - Equipment: Rusty Sword (T0), Sense Living

Base Stats: All stats (STADPWC) at 2

Progression: Common ST[A|D]

To the undead, the living glow with a dim light that can illuminate their immediate surroundings. Without that light, skeletons stumble around blindly, but they can quickly home in on the living once they come in range.

Traits:

Level 2: Resilient Bones: The bones of animated skeletons are much tougher than ordinary bones. It takes at least a T1 weapon to damage them, though they can be dislodged more easily.

Level 4: Sharpened Hearing: This level adds an additional sense, which increases the range at which they can detect enemies.

T2: Skeleton (XXX) - Equipment: Varies

There are many varieties of T2 Skeletons, some of which are Common and some of which are Fine. T2 Skeletons get equipment suited for their role, generally a costume, sometimes equipment. Skeleton Warriors get a T1 Sword and T1 Armour (Breastplate and skirt)

Progression: Common: ST[A|D][P|W], Fine STAD[P|W] or ST[A|D]PW

Level 2: Profession-Based (Warrior: Deathly Strike)

Despite the name, this is merely a single strike made with supernatural skill. There are about 7 variations of the strike distributed randomly amongst skeleton warriors, the strike is more easily blocked once you know it is coming.

Level 4: Magical sight.

Required for archers, this allows skeletons to perceive normal light and some aspects of mana

Level 6: Attach Bones

At this level, the skeleton can only be killed by the destruction of its skull. As long as one arm is still attached, it can reconstruct itself from its own scattered bones, or any others that happen to be within reach.

Level 8: Animated Parts

At this level, the individual parts of a skeleton remain alive after they are detached and can go on the attack, or attempt to re-attach themselves to the main body.

Level 10: Silent Scream

Once per fight, a skeleton can scream. Despite making no noise, it causes sonic damage and fear.

I thought it was well past due to get some stats for my skeles. I'd forgotten that I wanted them to get a bit more than increasing numbers. Remember that you have to add five to the levels of the T2 skeletons to get the real level. Also, I should explain the progression. Each stat is abbreviated by its first letter, so a progression of STAD means that the monster gets one of each stat at each level. [A|D] means it alternates between Agility and Dexterity at each level. Progressions like SSTT or ST[A|A|D] are possible as well.
