About the ending. Claudia's mind will age but her body will remain 14 forever as well as the emotions that come during those early teenage years. So her emotions are a constant roller coaster/tidal wave. As it goes with so many teens in those difficult years, they try to remove the emotional pain and turmoil by making the pain physical. Harming herself.

Also not to totally shift the tone but just like Sam and Jacob, I love Bailey's portrayal of Claudia. She's one of my favorite characters in this series.
