Shooting in neon is like capturing a piece of nighttime magic and preserving it in a frame.

First, it’s the atmosphere. Neon makes everything around slightly mysterious and dramatic. A simple street turns into a set for a noir film, and a passerby becomes the hero of a secret story. Even an ordinary shawarma stand looks like an iconic spot where John Wick might have stopped by.

Second, it’s the color. Blue, pink, green, yellow – neon paints the world in a way no Instagram filter ever could. Purple glows on the skin or red light dancing on the wet asphalt – it’s something that can’t be artificially recreated. Everything feels alive and a bit cosmic.

Third, it’s the element of surprise. When you shoot in neon, you never know what kind of “trick” it will pull off next. A face might suddenly be illuminated by such soft yet striking light that even the model will wonder, “Is that really me?”
