So nice to see you at it again, Hero! I know it was supposed to be funny, but I actually could imagine Lynn going toe to toe with the cheerleader that left her number for Lincoln. And speaking of cheerleader, I know Lynn may not be keen on the idea of dressing up like one. But I’m sure she would do it for her boyfriend in the end – all she needs are some pom-poms to shake and a real good cheer: “Two, four, six, nine, Lincoln’s my man, he’s so fine!” The cheer, Lynn may have to work on that, but I know it would get Lincoln going! I also thought it was adorable, seeing Lynn sitting on Lincoln’s lap and Lincoln take a bite out of Lynn’s ice cream; that is such a couple’s thing. My heart is already melting at the sight! And of course, they knew the topic was going to come up about their future. Lynn may put up a front all she wants about not being anxious following graduation, but Lincoln can just hear the uncertainty in her voice. Her local sports teams can only accumulate so much and carry her so far, so she may need something a little more long-lasting. And in effect, that uncertainty is bothering Lincoln. His face in the last panel conveys that feeling. I just hope he’s not thinking that he’s holding Lynn back again. Their situation is obviously a unique one, but I know they will try their best to make the most of the curveballs life throws at them.

I bet Lincoln is thinking of moving to California to do college so the LA Galaxies will give Lynn another shot at joining their team. And since Lincoln will be there with her by her side I'm sure Lynn would say yes.
