Oh... El inicio de los problemas tal vez?

Hootsifer

I knew this would happen.

2 months, you're joking?! How did Lincoln not know this?!...I knew that was going to happen. Love Lynn's reaction, in panel 4.

UnderratedHero

He knew this. That's why he was bribing the customs guy in page 8. He just didn't expect to run into the same guard from (almost) three years ago.

You've planned this well mate, well done. I tip my hat to you... if I was wearing a hat ^^ hahaha Get it?

Uppps Lincoln ahora sí tiene un gran problema ahora que va a suceder

Ah. See, this is why I’m not good with math – I tend to be off in my estimates more than I’d like to admit. In the same way that studying is not Lynn’s thing, numbers are just not my thing. That’s why I always say I’m better with letters and dumber with numbers. I didn’t realize that Lincoln’s ban from Canada is actually still in effect. That explains the bribe from five pages ago – I was wondering what reason Lincoln would have for bribing the Canadian official. Now I understand why. Gosh, I’m not looking forward to the outcome of this at all. It'll be anything but a-moose-ing. In my humble opinion, I think this Mountie is taking this whole thing WAAAAAAYYY too seriously. I look in the flashback in the third panel and I see this Mountie so full of life – he’s got a smile on his face and a song in his heart. And then I look in the foreground and now I see he’s got sunglasses and no light in his eyes. He’s become so stone-faced and hard-hearted, like what Lincoln did was a personal attack on him. He claims syrup is a way of life and a custom, but more important and sacred than their hockey teams? I’m 100% sure Lynn would disagree with that statement. You can have too much of a good thing, you know? And too much syrup is called diabetes! Unfortunately, though, I’m starting to fear the worst here, like Lincoln may actually get arrested over this ridiculous and obscure Canadian bylaw. It doesn’t look like there is one lenient bone in this Mountie’s body. However, there is a shining light in all of this. I loved how Lynn used her arm to shield Lincoln. I can see that fire in her eyes, like she’s challenging the Mountie, saying through her gaze, “You touch him and I’ll go full-blown Darren McCarty on you and your moose! You’ll have to ban me from Canada next!” I remember Lynn telling Lincoln in “Secrets” before their romantic relationship became official how she was the older sister and that she is supposed to protect him. Well, Lynn, I say here’s your chance! Protect Lincoln at all costs! On a side note, thank you for posting this chapter on my birthday, Hero! Thank you for making my special day feel a little more special.

Happy birthday! I wish it would have been the previous page, but I suppose this one has its silver linings like you mentioned, hehe. Also, thinking the ban would have been over wasn't unreasonable. I "decided" it happened in 2017 because it was a new school year, so I imagined it would've happened after the events of the previous five seasons, and that meant either everything happened in the first six months of the year (including... Halloween and Christmas?), or this new school year was in 2017. In the end, it's a bit arbitrary since we've had 3 April Fools in 2016 going by that logic... So you weren't completely off about your estimates. I think my logic also stands, though, and it allowed for more drama, so naturally that's the direction I took!

Let's hope this is the last that our two lovebirds will see and hear from this guy. If they had more time and were more daring, they'd drench that guy's office with syrup.

Kevin

If this is what gets them caught, going to Canada 2 months before your syrup based banishment... lol

Blazzore

What if a canadian doesn't want syrup on their pankcakes, Would they go to prison for breaking the law? Lincoln is lucky that he didn't send to prison that day.
