I think it's either Lori or one of their daughters, but given the setting of the page, maybe the whole family shows up at the apartment to congratulate her and then she wakes up.

Happiness, Happiness all around. Now I am dying to know who this new character is. Kid seems possible but at the same time it feels kind of early for them even if they are adopted. Neighbor, roommate, friend they’ve made in the past 4 years? Also is this how their new life starts to unravel, because she becomes a pro soccer player and that’s how they will expose themselves to being tracked down. As always Hero, great work on keeping us hooked and locked in.

Please, let's celebrate - it's been long overdue! Although, the realistic part of me is piqued by the introduction of the person this sandaled foot belongs to.
