Hey everyone. I was hoping to have a new page ready for today, but it seems like it'll have to wait until next week.

So, in the meantime, I just wanted to give you a better picture of what's been going on on my side to explain why there haven't been new pages at a quicker pace, and why this should be, hopefully, changing after next week!

As I shared before, at the beginning of August I had myopericarditis, a heart condition that had me hospitalized right when my new semester of college was begining. The doctors asked me to rest and to keep my marathoninan hours of drawing to a minimum to avoid stress or getting needlessly tired. So, for a while, I was just not doing much of anything.

Now, I mentioned this happened right when I was supposed to start a new semester of college. Well, being a couple of weeks out of commission made it so I lost several classes and, while the professors were super supportive and understanding, it meant I had top do a lot to catch up. As I'm writing this, I'm sending the last piece of homework I was due, and I'm officially caught up with the semester.

But also, it's not just any semester. It's my final semester. In two months, the semester will be over, and once I pass my finals (which I'm aiming for February/March), I'll officially become an architect. Which is awesome, but as you can probably imagine, the last few months before graduating architecture college are proving to be quite brutal. They're kicking my ass with projects. That's been eating up a lot of my time, and as you can imagine, it impacted my ability to consistently make progress on the comic.

There's also another thing going on that, while pretty minor, has also been keeping me busy. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, at least on my Discord server (btw, if you haven't joined, become a Patreon and link your Discord account to be automatically added), but I practice karate. And next Thursday, I'll be traveling with my dojo to another state for a major seminar with one of the most important sensei alive in the style I practice. It's only for a few days, but it's a major event that my dojo and I have been preparing for months. So, while not too stressful or anything, it's also been eating my time to get ready for this seminar. Which was only made all the more complicated with the month I had to take off from practicing due to the myopericarditis (which, by the way, is long gone, all the tests are giving wonderful results, I'm as good as new).

Aaaaand that leads me to the FINAL thing that happened in this past month. And I don't wanna get into too much detail, but I almost lost my dad a few weeks ago. He's fine now, he's at home, he's being taken care of and it's all good, but I think you can imagine how something like that has an impact on my schedule.

Now, all of this is to try to explain why it's taking me so long to finish a new page. But the good news is that most of it is over. I'm doing amazing health wise, 100% over that virus. My dad is doing better. I'm caught up with college. The karate thing is this upcoming week. Once I come back from that, I'll be good and ready to get back to my regular schedule. Which should mean consistently putting out pages, aiming at one page per week.

Alright, I don't want to make this any longer than it needs to. Hope you had a good week. I'll see you soon with the next page (hopefully lol)

Have a good one!

Good to hear your doing better and hope your dad is ok and getting the rest he needs and congrats for being in your final year of college can only imagine the course work you need to do hope you do well and can’t wait for your next update

First and foremost, I am glad everything is alright right now for you physically, and I wish you and your family the best. Second, do NOT let the comic stress you, we can wait a little longer. I've said it before, but if you go and hospitalize yourself trying to finish it, it has the opposite effect as intended. And lastly... When are you gonna give us a minecraft let's play series with those architect skills?

Kevin

Oh wow, sorry to hear it dude, glad to hear everything worked out ok. Take all the time you need, IRL stuff always more important. I don't think anyone here minds waiting.

Ashley Uh... Oops

I am so glad to hear you're doing much better. I'm especially thankful that your dad is still among us and getting all the medical attention he needs. As for college and karate, I know you'll kick ass at what you do. Soon, thankfully, much of this will be behind you taking its stress with it. Here's to ya', mate! Stay healthy and happy!

You are having a dramatic life almost at the same level of your comic, if you are honest here.
