I feel like I should clarify that Frisk and Asriel holding hands isn't meant to imply a 'ship' or anything, just a platonic sibling thing.

2026-09-05 17:00 It's sad that nowadays you even have to specify that perfectly normal supportive family behavior isn't shipping. That shouldn't even be a concept, or at very least not a public/popular one. :( Family love is special and shouldn't be tainted. It's just plain tragic that we artists now have to be all self-conscious whenever we portray healthy family bonds, when it's supposed to be carefree and natural. :( Anywaaaay... Yeah, those two have seen some stuff. And are still dealing with a lot of it. Poor kiddos. But indeed, all they can do is move forward. I like how you're driving the story; there was healthy hesitation in the face of uncertainty, but the only choice now is to take a risk and push onward. No Easter-Egg calls from Toriel this time~! (referring to if you listen to her in the Ruins and stay put for a long time. You get to also find out why she doesn't end up returning your calls when you leave the ruins: The Annoying Dog keeps taking her phone. XD)

Ah yes, the old topic with shipping two persons because they behave similar to a couple for a moment. That will never end (wich is funny and a bit sad on the same time). But i want to note further on the keyhole of the door. In previous pages it looked always like a human soul but now (hinting to the Otherworld i suppose) its more amonster Soul. :D

MK gettin' nosy to open a door, v. good. Frisk & Az having a moment to collect themselves before doing something that's gonna put one of them ill-at-ease, also v. good. Seems kinda sad to have to specify that it isn't shipping, they obviously have a familial bond and part of that means being aware of each other & respecting when they need some support. You're doing great. :)

Yes, some don't quite see them as siblings, but more friends. For this story, they are more family/siblings. ^^

Azzy's gettin' stressed again, too; them vines be creepin' up on him again. The little ripples where the rope passes through the mirror's threshold are a cool detail.

I think I expressed myself a little unhappy. I meant that for a short moment it shows a behaviour that also occurs with couples, even if not only couples do it. It just comes to a short-circuit reaction, where people see something and immediately associate with the first that comes along, which usually leads to extreme cases like "shipping".

This comic is amazing! I can really feel the deep connections that Frisk and Asriel have with each other and how MK is always willing to help his two friends out of a tough situation regardless of the risks, so awesome! Still weird that he doesn't have any arms though...😅
