A little late on the post here... though I think I've been later than this....

I put together some thoughts on the new Spider-Man game by Insomniac games, nothing too in-depth but something I know a lot of you are probably curious about.

I'm kind of happy doing videos where I don't necessarily cover every little detail about a game but just things I'm passionate about or I find the most interesting to talk about.

To be honest that's how I've gone about most of my vids for a while now, I just bring up what I want, and if they end up long... well, they end up long. Even the Ratchet 2016 video was this philosophy put into practice, which is quite scary.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed the vid, I probably went a little easy on it cause it's Spidey, but oh well, I'm not all about raining on parades!

Glad you covered Spidey! Most videos about it, you get the story talk, the spoiler talk, the swinging. While I do love the game(it's an actually fun and well-made Spider-Man game), I'm happy I've got you pinpointing the areas where the combat falls a bit short and the swinging's a bit shallow, 'cause I had those same feelings while playing.

When I was on my mid-semester break I had the choice between grabbing Dragon Quest XI and Spidey. I’m glad I opted for DQ11 because it sounds like Spidey wouldn’t have met my expectations for an action game, but DQ11 well exceeded what I expected from a JRPG. I’ll probably pick up Spidey at some point, but not at full price.
