My review of the latest Vanillaware game, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim; the strategy-adventure-visual novel mech monster game.

With this out of the way and Cyberpunk delayed I don't know what new game I'll be playing in November. Maybe the Kingdom Hearts Rhythm game? What will you guys be playing?

I started playing Odin Sphere Leifthrasir last week for some reason, and just finished Gwendolyn's initial story. That alone took me 10 hours, so with four more playable characters that all have their own campaign plus some sort of final arc at the end, I expect I'll be here a while lol. Vanillaware have a lot of good qualities but they sure aren't brief. I like it a lot though. Odin Sphere on PS2 was a bit clunky and repetitive I thought, and I can't believe how much new content they've added and how improved the new combat is. It might still get old after 50 hours or whatever but I'm down so far. Sentinels is gonna have to wait but I'm eager to play it at some point.
