OTP August Preview #2 (Patreon)

Here is the second preview for August, this one featuring Lauren. Enjoy!

Productive couple of weeks, got quite a bit done. Scene setup is finally complete, huge celebration afterward. Rendering is nearly done as well, less than 100 renders to go and postwork is not far behind now. The main issue, as mentioned last time, are the animations.

So, here is what I decided to do based on the animations I have to render and how long they are taking. I removed 2 animations from the chapter completely, they won't be done now or in the future. I have postponed 2 other animations. By that I mean I'm not going to render these out for the Chapter 08 release and instead will render them when I start Chapter 09. At the start of production of any chapter there is always a few weeks where rendering and scene setup are neck and neck. It's not until I get to scenes that take longer to render when the scene setup pulls away. So, I figure I can easily keep up with scene setup for Chapter 09 and render these 2 animations as well. Then I will release these 2 animations as part of Chapter 09. So, if you unlock the scene, you can see the new animations in the replay gallery after Chapter 09 is released. Not the best solution I know, but it will probably move release of Chapter 08 up by at least a week if not two. Also, these 2 animations are just different camera angles of ones that will be in Chapter 08, so you still get to see the animations in Chapter 08, just not all the camera angles. Lastly, there are 2 other animations I have shortened by about half, so they should render twice as fast now. These were actually the longest of the animations for Chapter 08. I might render out the rest of these for Chapter 09, but I haven't decided that yet.

There is still a lot of rendering left to do for the animations, but these changes will help speed up the rendering process quite a bit.
