(Ink Magic) Silverlead Seal - 4th-level Abjuration (Patreon)

Silverlead Seal

4th-level abjuration (Bard, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard)

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Touch

Components: V, S, M (a vial of silver and lead based ink worth 50 gp, which the spell consumes)

Duration: 1 hour

Using the ink provided for the spell's casting, you swiftly scribe a seal of warding onto a creature you touch. An unwilling creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw to avoid the spell.

A marked creature is warded for the duration against detection by magic. The creature can not be chosen as a target for any spell or magical effect that requires sight, unless that spell or effect uses Ink as a material component. The creature also can't be targeted by any divination magic or perceived by magical scrying sensors.

The marked creature can break the ward as a reaction when another creature moves within 5 feet of them, becoming invisible until the start of its next turn, at which point this spell ends.

The seal breaks early if the marked creature casts a spell, ending this spell.
