Brainrot are memes, but it's just like a subsect of meme. It's like mixing YT poop and dank memes in that the videos are just slop, but it's also stuff kids can repeat like parrots. Like how kids used to say MLG or illuminati confirmed, but now it's skibidi toilet and chopped huzz.

100% a skin scam, been through something similar with faceit. I also sniffed it out pretty early and pretended to play along for awhile, kept trying to get me to show my screen but I just told them it makes my PC lag really bad. They try to get you to send skins to a friend to “verify” your account so they can hijack the trade after they skim your password since trading without the Authenticator takes to long. There was a second guy in the call following the steps but I’m pretty sure he was in on it, just left and put my account on lock down. Always triple check the steam or faceit URL and fuck faceit clubs

This aiden story makes so much sense now. I have a total of maybe 10 hours played in CS, but for fun i spent like 400$ on cases and got pretty lucky. I have an inventory of maybe 1.6-2 k. People i have never seen keep adding me and wanting to play games with me. And i always ask why the fuck would they want to play with me, Im dogshit I have 10 hours playtime total. Thank god i never did All of those requests started to come in after i made my inventory public so i can sell one of my knives on the steam market

Turkish yard head here, Ruhi Çenet is an og Turkish YouTuber, kind of like the chills of Turkish YouTube maybe in the old ages, generally made creepy esque videos and spoke in like a serious tone weird voice but he also interacted with the other popular tr YouTubers at the time. Didn't know the started getting an English audience crazy seeing so.

You can click malicious links and nothing will happen. Just don't enter any credentials, and don't run anything that might get auto downloaded. But a website can't automatically run anything or steal any of your information unless you do something beyond just click around the website.

As a PhD graduate, I can confidently say this podcast stimulates parts of my brain I thought were long dead. Love the show. I find ‘The Yard’ to be a masterclass in intellectual discourse. The way you seamlessly weave together topics like Smash tournaments, gambling addictions, and shooting dogs dead in cafes is truly groundbreaking. I’ve recommended this podcast to my dissertation advisor, my therapist, and my barber. That said, I never went to college.
