as a former starbucks employee i can confirm that starbucks uses their own brand of coconut, almond, and soy milk but the dairy milks (whole, skim, heavy cream, half and half) are grocery store brands. oat milk is regional brand but Oatly makes a barista version of their oatmilk but idk what’s different about it tbh and yes we do add sugar to the milk (vanilla) but it’s ONLY for the caramel macchiato

I work at Starbucks and the milk brand is decided by regional deals that are dependent on location. Basically where your store is decides what brands you have. However the milk alternatives like almond, soy and coconut are Starbucks branded, with the soy milk being heavily pre sweetened
