24:18 I always thought the DCOMs were cringe and full of tropes that can take you out of the movie but i then realized they HAVE to be there to be carried forward to the new generation, Its nice they are preserved in a way.

I have so many questions about this movie's world building. Why have normal basic classes between the elite and the outcasts? We didn't even see one and it looked like they forgot them half way through. Maybe because she needed to be the opposite of UDM to get the message across that people of all levels of visible success can have mental illness? I don't know. If shifters can fly, what do flyers have to offer? And what was even different about the UDM flyer? He just also flew, there were no different rules, just practice. They couldn't even make a goal for him because it would have been to be the same as the others and undermined their whole point. The smoke thing is so different from fire, but it seems like the flyer and the shifter were just better versions to begin with. Is this a metaphor for different types of outcasts, deviations from the norm, even positive ones, being punished? What even was the pushing superpower if not also telekinesis? I think even if I was a 10 year old watching this, I would get angry.
