YeezusLovesYou

first chiodos now scary kids scaring kids. Slimes taking me back to high-school with these mentions.

KCK Dumas

I see y’all talking about Neurodivergency again and I want to mention what my therapist said - A lot of people will look at something that has to do with ND symptoms and either say “oh everyone does that” or “that’s a symptom of ___ you have that” But really it’s about how much control it has in your life, and how often it happens. A lot of people will have intrusive thoughts once in awhile. But if you have them nonstop it’s probably something bigger Also I think a lot of people will diagnose other people because for a long time this information was never available to us and is very hard to get a straight answer(for me, I am neurodivergent but was never diagnosed, likely because I’m female)

Brayden Gouttin

All that Super Auto Pets starting to add up now...

train week is a goated idea

May

where i actually find meat eaters to be hypocritical is when they're appalled at the idea of eating a dog or cat like it's not the exact same as eating a cow

Snoweydude

Im right there with you but if there is one episode to watch while tripping it's this one.

Devan Booth

having a premium episode titled “Free Tay K edition,” and slime not knowing tay k is so funny

After giving it some thought, I think "Cotton Week" was a slightly problematic time for America but maybe train week will be different

Aura

This was even more hilarious when I discovered that the argument came from Ludwig and not Slime

I unironically talked about fucking and eating pokemon with my boys this week, I'm glad I have some weird form of the Yard brainrot, but about my own interests.

fatalfries

Bro, the last 20 minutes might have been some of the funniest shit I've ever heard. Thanks.

Gr0ver02

I've never expected to see mandjtv discussed on the yard

Theo T

fucking animals is bad because its a matter of consent and not necessarily because they cant understand or consent but because there is no way for either party to communicate consent. which is not only for the other party but a matter of your own morals, on the question of death vs sex, R wording an animal is significantly worse than killing it. death is absolutely a consequence of life and the cruel part of existence is never the moment that it ends. making the existence of life immensely cruel through R word is significantly worse than swiftly killing an animal. obviously factory farms are fucked up and that should change but its more a consequence of capitalism and attaching moral arguments to veaganism is cringe because a lot of people cant afford it or dont have the time to pursue it, there are a lot bigger problems in the world than sad pigs that require energy and awareness to solve. really funny ep but im disappointed in the boys understanding of consent

Papershredder

Ludwig’s argument about fucking animals is a legitimate one that I’ve heard before and I think when delivered properly can be quite compelling. Realistically in most first world countries, supporting the meat industry and its morally egregious procedures is one you can’t easily justify in any way, you kind of have to accept some cognitive dissonance which is definitely a questionable thing to accept in your life

just

Kai is such a fkin piece of shit its so sad people still interact and talk about him especially the bois

Jim Griffith

Train Week is the ultimate example of seeing that 1 woman can make 1 baby in 9 months, then trying to use 9 women to make 9 babies in 1 month

smile4k

why is he a pos

raccy

thanks, theo

Theo T

what did he do?

Jack

train week bit top 5 favorite pod moments for me

Femi

But if the human is the one getting dicked down or a hj from a gorilla, the only real argument becomes that the animal doesn’t understand what they’re doing or that they were tricked into doing it.

zane jenkins

Covered up a friend of his who assaulted a girl at his party, after he told the girl she would be safe in a separate room. His friend then snuck in and assaulted her, and when she asked kai who the guy was he defended him and saying he wouldn’t do that.

Lem1n

you can say “you people” about people with adhd because we get extended time on standardized tests and thats pretty saucy imo

Abdiulue

I slightly disagree, because I don't think we should accept death just because it's a consequence of life, because then we would have to also accept human death, even preventable ones, which doesn't sit right with me. Instead, I think it's mostly fine, because I don't think an animal could understand what death means sure they understand pain and understand that they should avoid death, but they don't understand why death should be avoided, or what death even is. People like Ludwig understand that in many places eliminating meat is currently impossible. Also, a lot of moral vegans understand that capitalism is the cause of this, and that by tackling it we can also stop the meat industry. I am not remotely a vegan, but just defending (some of) them.

Kenny reges

“That’s what me hands did and he died” I wanted someone so bad to say that they’re built different lmao

Jack Robson

If you think R wording is worse the killing than your personal morals but I think we can both agree neither is a good act. Both R wording and killing happen in animal agriculture all the time. Mammals only make milk during and for a time after pregnancy. Cows are routinely forcibly impregnated so they consistently produce milk and as you identified can not consent. You say that “the cruel part of existence is never the moment that it ends” but these animals do not live a good life. There is a good documentary on youtube, for free, called Dominion (2018); which show how we treat and exploit animals. I assume you know some of them already as you correctly recognise factory farming as a problem. That being said, you are wrong to say it is a consequence of capitalism. This treatment of animals has existed long before capitalism, it is just amplified by it. These farms are trying to find the most efficient way to produce meat and dairy but these conditions and practices only happen because of people's demands. Although there are many problems in the world, there are very few I have direct control over. I can not wake up in the morning and immediately stop my country from bombing children but I can choose what I have for breakfast. You say that a vegan diet is expensive and time-consuming but I don't think this is true. I see people say this in discussions about veganism and none of them are or were vegan. I think it is a talking point people use just because they see other people use it. A vegan diet can be expensive but so can a diet with animal products. While animal products are usually expensive, unless the animals are kept in the worst conditions (caged eggs) and/or the farms are heavily subsidised by the government (milk), a vegan diet is usually only expensive if you are eating fake meats and substitutes. There are plenty of lovely healthy vegan meals that use things like tofu, lentils and beans that a meal with meat could not match the price of and you won't the guilt of having to harm an animal. I will admit that it may take some time to adjust to a vegan diet but so is any deity change. In fact, it is mostly a habit which normally takes 66 days, so most people will not struggle after two months. Veganism is practised by a range of people with differing beliefs on what it is and how it should be practised. The one belief they all have in common is, veganism is about not putting humans above other sentient life and showing kindness to them. My action of what I eat every day can directly contribute to the suffering of animals but I choose not to. It was hard for me to look at myself as saying you believe in not hurting animals but your actions don't line up. To put it simply, I would not kill or R word a human therefore I will not do it to an animal.

Jame

somehow we always make it back to yard ep 38

William Lynch

Big respect to the boys for making a commitment to eat less meat! I was vegetarian for 3 years in college, been thinking about doing it again now that I'm in a more stable point in my life. Going to try to rope some of my friends into making a similar pact! If anyone reading this is thinking of trying it out remember to supplement vitamin B12, D, and DHA/EPA fatty acids (if you don't eat fish). Creatine also has a number of mental benefits for vegetarians, even if you don't lift/work out.

Mike

Real crazy how consent of death works in your world view but ok

Mike

Veganism is doable, its hard to resist convenience of animal products but its 100% doable. Also, obviously sexually assaulting an animal is wrong but you cant look at the state of animal agriculture and say “this is perfectly fine because they’re not getting sexually assaulted” (actually look into how milk has to be produced, because cows need to be forcibly impregnated) So that argument is already in favor of not eating meat because sexual assault of animals already takes place, compounding the immorality of eating animals. No one enjoys being told what they do is wrong, its annoying and sucks but just try and think about how shitty it is we do that to other being that have the capacity for suffering when perception of existence alone is suffering for us.

Joseph Warren

This is a long way away from episode 2 or 3 when they talked about Aiden's high school buddy getting arrested for having sex with a horse

Skye

As someone with a niece and nephew that are 9 & 11 yrs old, you guys are so wildly wrong about all of your takes involving kids 😭

Gonzo

EAT BEANS BRO

Sakis

nicks fit went hard this ep

Sunny D

They’re using Zipper like he’s Alexa

Sunny D

I like Ludwig doing the Vaush thing where he has a good point of comparison and then delivers it in the worst, most clippable way possible. My streamers o7

ThomasMand

How do you think Cow’s have babies for milk? They get “inseminated” which is just a nicer way of saying R word. Also you could make the exact same argument for R word. “Animals do that all the time, look at ducks, so it’s not bad”. See how that doesn’t make sense? Just because death is inevitable doesn’t make it ok to torture an animal for its entire existence. Most people just don’t want to go vegan out of laziness, which is the real cringe.

Theo T

I am very young and still searching for what it means to be good in the world and I think this is an interesting take that I will consider more However I would challenge it by posing a scenario. A spider spends its whole life building an immaculate web, a form of art more impressive than any human. And on some day that spider crawls from its web and onto your hand while you are laying in bed and is startled by your movements and bites you. And just by instinct you slap it, killing it instantly. One moment it is One moment it isn’t Is that truly cruel, that spider has no understanding of the fact that it is in your house, it has no understanding of the fact that it might survive longer if it weren’t to crawl onto your hand, it has no understanding of the fact that it is about to die. That spider thinks only thinks on instinct to bite you, as you think on instinct to kill it. Would you feel bad? Why? I know I would feel bad, but I wouldn’t feel bad for killing it, I would feel bad for the fact that it is dead, a sort of mourning in some way, I think any living creature can sympathize with death. But I think the main thing is that neither you nor I would feel bad for killing the spider. I don’t think to kill something is wrong I think murder is wrong I think hurting someone else is wrong I don’t even believe in the death penalty But some things have to die, the line is whether it’s a choice or an inevitability And I think the cruelty of killing is a product of the being who is killed and those who mourn that being, understanding the idea that it was a choice I think that we live in a society where we have enough resources to provide for animals to live full and extravagant lives. And like the spider who creates the most majestic web to ever be, I think it’s entirely possible for those beings to be fulfilled, and like us die when it is our time. Because it’s never really our time until it is, but when most people die at peace they die with the understanding that their death is an act of fate. A cruel one maybe, but an inevitability outside of their understanding. And I think that is the interesting thing, no animal really will ever understand it’s mortality as you do, and ironically you likely suffer more from the idea of its execution than it actually does. I say all of these things under the pretext that I do not fear death. I fear the moments before, I fear pain, I fear the sadness of my family, I fear frankly most everything besides death. But I understand that at one moment I will be, and another moment I won’t be. And I think as humans we have spent so much time reducing the cruelty to ourselves and prolonging our lives and have become only more afraid of death.I think this is because we now see death as a choice and more strictly a failure, believing our unbelievable progress should allow us immortality. I wish there was a black and white line between what you can and cannot kill, but in my mind plants are just as alive as anything else, I don’t necessarily see neurons to be the pretext for life. Anyways I hope that clears it up, I am as consistently for killing humans as I am for animals so long as it is an inevitability but because it is so rare that we would kill another human in a capacity that is inevitable (euthanasia due to extreme sickness, or inescapable coma, or even refusing experimental but extremely painful cancer treatment) I think it’s hard to have context. I think in an ideal world all animals and humans would live the same, being entirely able to pursue the objects of their guiding purpose, until the moment they die, understanding that it is an entirely indifferent act of fate. I think one interesting thing to consider is that especially in many traditional as well as modern styles of hunting animals the goal is to kill the animal immediately before it is even stressed because the chemicals of that stress response will spoil the meat. Anyways, I like just turned 17 a few months ago and have basically no clue what I’m talking about but that’s how I look at the world at the moment

Joep Saris

This was the funniest premo episode I've ever seen

sheeshman

“I don’t care what kind of car they’re in” 😭😭

Heiro Sect

I feel like if Slime or Aiden just simply asked, they could 100% get Steve-O onto the advice show. The guy did so much crazy shit, I feel like he may have genuinely good advice

Eli

One of luds worst takes tbh

raasu

next patreon goal the yard gets diagnosed

Jamie Slacks

vaushites coming out of the woodwork this eps i’m pleasantly surprised

Sloth Gahd

I find it really weird how much Ludwig wants to fuck a fish

Daniel

Facts without sports I’d literally never speak to my dad.

Austin L

So what ludwig is trying to say is we should be able to eat people, right?

Unrep

i think this is the best patreon episode yet

KCK Dumas

Btw the idea that “fish don’t feel pain like we do” is actually just legit fishing propaganda. While it’s really hard to tell, scientists have done studies that show fishes remember pain like we do, and it’s widely accepted conclusion.

Wesley

Don’t dookie on mandjtv mans just doing his own thing and I can say I find his content enjoyable

Thothrax

I'm a cheesemonger so if Slime needs some help with his love of cheese I'm here for him

thehufbagel

whenever you boys want to start your own society founded on ideas like 'train week,' you can count me in

ThomasMand

There's a couple things wrong with what you're saying. First is that we absolutely don't have the resources to provide animals with good lives at the current rate of animal consumption. Second, what do you mean people suffer more from the idea of the execution? Are you under the impression that animals live out their life and then die of old age peacefully? Pigs live in environments where they literally are unable to move, they get put in gas chambers with burning hot air where they die from asphyxiation, chickens break their legs from how fast they grow and then they wait there until they die. Baby chickens get thrown into a shredder within minutes of being born so people can have their chicken nuggets. This isn't like killing a spider, killing a spider is swift. This is like taking a spider, putting it under a glass cover, giving it just enough to survive, and each day ripping one of each legs off, util it either dies from the torture you're putting it through, or you eventually whack it for a 'swift' death. Have you watched any video's from slaughter houses? If you haven't, go look at dominion, it's produced by Joaquin Phoenix (guy who talks about living in a society in The Joker). If you can sit through that and still say that we suffer more from the thought than the animals does from the killing, you're simply wrong. Lastly is that the animal agriculture industry is the number one polluter on the planet, more than planes, more than cars, more than the whole of the oil industry. If you have the option to not kill, it is always the only moral action to not do so, especially when an animal is tortured for its entire life just for five minutes of mouth pleasure. Going vegan is not only the most moral for the animals, but also for the planet. That being said, I am sympathetic that going from 0 to fully vegan is tough, that's why most people, including myself go through the vegetarian pipeline and eventually end up vegan.

Theo T

My brother in Christ I am saying that we should eradicate factory farming because it’s abusive and the reason people think vegans are dumb is because of the take of “killing animals is bad” which is a dumb take I’m saying that factory farming is bad and it should be eradicated with the rest of the evils of capitalism but for example the way that native Americans peoples have hunted in harmony with the nature for literally thousands of years is proof that the problem isn’t eating meat the problem is that capitalism/feudalism (feudalist farming wasn’t super sick either) fucks everything I am not advocating that in an ideal future we just torture animals because I think it’s chill, I’m saying specifically the part where you torture them is the problem, not the part where you kill them. In an ideal future meat would be more of a delicacy and animals would be reared ethically (free roaming and none of the shit you talked about) Those environments make meat get fucked up and gross and there is a culinary incentive for any hunter to quickly kill an animal without cruelty One example of this is Ike Jime My main point is that torturing animals is fucked up but it’s a part of a system that is doing way eviler shit and out of all the shit that it’s doing that is literally the lowest priority on the list and you deciding to not eat meat is a personal choice that is meant to make you feel better about yourself in a world where almost everything you consume or interact with is a product of unimaginable cruelty. I respect the need for a handhold on your own morality, but I am more of the opinion that consumer side activism is not necessarily effective. I respect the fuck out of vegans who will like break into factory farms and blow shit up and release animals because that is based and cool. But otherwise veganism is a you thing, it’s not really helping anyone else. Because to make any argument that you are making a significant difference you would have to argue that the number of meat eating humans in the world is increasing at a slower rate than the number of vegans. Also plant based foods are not ethically sourced either ???? Like at all???? And most of those environments are a result of neocolonialism and near slave labor from undocumented immigrants. Like it’s not any better on farms with animals but the component of direct harm to a being isn’t even any different if you are eating vegan, and unless you wanna make a trolley problem argument about how there are less beings suffering I don’t get it

mia

definitely my favourite episode. just absolutely batshit

mia

"do you have my latte?" LMFAO

mia

undersold messi tbh easily the best to ever do it

Andrew

This is the hardest I’ve ever laughed at a hard episode

Jeb Bush

this is now the second time Ludwig has talked about fucking animals on the pod alone should we be concerned

Tyler C

as an autism i would put all of my worldly possessions on slime being autistic. he has the eyes. real ones know.

Elijah Rojas

bro. the pokemon youtuber. i'm so glad i'm no longer alone in knowing how insane he is. sometimes he'll be the only person with content on a topic and you just hold your breath and get stoned and watch it. you should check out just how many videos he's posted. simply preposterous

Q

I get that yelling at Zipper is a bit at this point but it’s so cringe and obnoxious. Nick should really stop yelling at him

wild uni

You do not know these people and their personal relationships please stop being so anti social

Aleshia

All joking aside, the animal conversation made me think of a book by Agustina Bazterrica called “Tender is the Flesh”. It’s a post-virus dystopian where animal flesh is no longer edible so a humans are raised to be chattel. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a good, fucked up horror.

Jay

This might be the push I needed to go vegan

Jullian A

“Zipper play the race” zipper is just the new alexa

Jake

Love train week

Alex

I’d gladly pay a lot to see an episode with Tim/Polyphia

Dennis Miller

Okay, but we could theoretically go vegan and then find ways to eat vegan without exploiting people. We have the resources. And then our diets would consist of 0% exploitation. But eating animals, even in a post-capitalist society, will always be exploitative because animals can't consent to being used for food. Something isn't magically okay because we did it before capitalism. First world countries definitely have the resources to produce vegan goods without exploiting people. And middle-class-to-upper-class people in first world countries definitely have the money to pay for vegan diets. Hell, I'm a bit below middle class in the US and I make vegetarian work just fine.

Henry Langerveld

The whole animal debate Lud just sounds like the drunk man from the Irish bar joke

cassopeia

philosophers discuss among themselves about ethics relating to animals.. BROOOOOOOOOO

starchycreampuf

the yard talking about mandjtv gave me one of the biggest rushes of nostalgia I've ever felt

Deirdre

tbf i am woman and this is one of my favorite premo eps so far

Alex Jones

Ludwig seemed more high this episode than any of the ones he actually was.

bolditalics

Ludwig giving a correct take and aiden being very cringe.

bolditalics

you should totally be vegan!

UnitatoG

why was nick fucken on fire this ep

Nicholas Koi

train week is the best idea to come out of this patreon so far. or maybe a tie between the kid pyramids and train week

Skiddly Winks

Like Slime mentioned, NIMBY extends to a bunch of other stuff too. It's essentially the phenomenon of people who claim that social progressivism is at least good or even necessary for us to go through with -- but they never want these changes actually affect their lives in some way

Skiddly Winks

Thanks for the recommendation, I need to read more

Skiddly Winks

BRO ON GOD! It's like gaydar but for autism

Skiddly Winks

Theo I understand that you're young, but you're articulate enough to hopefully be able to understand deeper contexts of why something like the dairy/beef industies in America are particularly awful. Other people already provided points explaining why that is, but I'd just like to say my perspective on the issue. The strawman argument of, "Well veganism and vegetarianism are actually bad too" completely disregards the main points about large scale animal AND human suffering as a result of these things. I myself would call myself pretty pescetarian, but I'll still eat a dairy sometimes. I don't think there's anything wrong with eating meat; as organic life forms we eat other life forms to gain energy and not die. That energy can come in the form of other mammals, bugs, birds, plants, and whatever else, it doesn't matter. The problem comes from our obsession with over consumption and civilizational stubbornness to change things that we know are bad thanks to lobbying and very successful advertising movements. I'm certain that it's a loud minority of people who actually believe that this argument is over if eat meat = ur bad person and eat plant = ur morally better. It's not that simple

2026-09-05 05:00 The idea of the argument with eating animals is around the treatment of livestock, not how fucking animals is kinda normal. Presented really weird and probably one of the worst bits...
2024-12-25 01:21

Woodus

you seem to lack the baseline knowledge thats vegetarianism. Veganism is around the idea that humans are to smart to continue eating animals. Like a lion can't stop eating gazelle. Certain animals biologically cannot process produce and are designed to extract nutrient through meat. Where as humans make nuke, gun, and car. Veganism goes as far as animal product or an animal being used in anyway is wrong. A lot of vegan horse girls stop riding horses and just transition their horse accommodations into more of a shelter then a stable. Debates on "Speciesism" and lots of white vegans will dead ass say what we do to chickens for example is worse than all of slavery or the lack of indigenous people due to colonialism. The idea that this argument stems from only live stock condition complaints in fairness to you would be a little odd and I could see why you dislike or think of it as one of the worst bits. IT however is more so about the morality of just killing the animal which is one of the biggest testaments commandments of veganism.

Grittyhamy

Kash Patel would have loved this episode.
