5/27/2026: Epilogue of 12MB posted and that series is taking a 2 week break while patreons put in their requests for side stories and individual epilogues, I'll be swapping focus back onto Die Trying now and catch us up there! Soon, we'll be back on schedule!

5/15/2026: Epilogue chapter of 12 Miles Below taking a little longer than expected to write up, impacted Die Trying writing energy, the chapter didn't feel like it was advancing anything after a few hours of writing it, needs a revamp >.<

5/11/2026 - Die Trying is starting back up tuesday, but will be doing biweekly releases until IRL is settled down. Lots of spinning plates right now.
12 MB is going to have daily chapters released early until the epilogue of the series, after which I'll take a two week pause and then continue on a slower release pace to wind down, with Patreon polling deciding which chapters to work on!

4/26/2026: Need to sleep on DT for about 2 weeks as I fix up some continuity issues that I noticed was upcomming, (Plus I haven't actually taken any between books breaks in this series besides sickness and a few days for holiday in total.)

4/9/2026: Need to sleep on this chapter of 12MB, I'd like it to land better but I can't think of the right ways to do that right now, so I'll continue to work on it tomorrow with fresh eyes!

4/3/2026: Holidays! Going to take this friday off and spend that time going over the outline to make sure the next few chapters of Die Trying and 12MB come out good. (Also family has requested me to come out of my rock and be social.)

3/25/2026: Got two chapter's worth of Die Trying written out, but would like to sleep on them both and re-read tomorrow with fresh eyes before I post them up. That'll handle today's chapter and friday's chapter for the week!

3/21/2026: In a cruel twist of ironic fate, my 8 year old phone got dropped into the toilet and now it's cranky and half-working, and I had to go the distance in getting data out of it + other stuff. It's an ordeal, this phone existed back in the days of micro SD cards and Nano SIM's. All the new phones hate both. Might need to delay DT one more day because fallout's number 1 rule of the wasteland: Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time

3/20/2026: Made it alive, but also completely dead inside from lack of sleep; brain mush, head fried, no spagetti. Will write and post DT's chapter tomorrow instead.

3/11/2026: Got yesterday's chapter fixed up, but ran out of time writing today's. Will catch up by posting a chapter on the weekends!

3/10/2026: Screwed up today's chapter of Die Trying, because I for some reason thought Wade had traded his newly gained scroll with Medy for that wrapper, instead of the chitin fragment, and now I have to rewrite the entire thing. Will fix it up and post it in a bundle with tomorrow's chapter

2/24/2026: I am sick! Going to take two-three days to recover most likely, updates paused until I can actually write good chapters

1/9/2026: Die Trying Chapter complete, but it's late in the night, I'll release it tomorrow morning after a final check when I'm more fresh.

11/27/2025: So I didn't realize, but it's Thanksgiving, and if I spend time writing a 12MB chapter today, family is going to strangle me.
Not sure what I'm going to do since I already owe one extra chapter for DT, might need to call this week a wash and just try to catch up over the weekends for next week >.<

11/26/2025: Medy and Bael discussing what the hell is going on and learning about Earth is taking quite a while to write out. They have a lot of opinions. Will try to post tomorrow, but 12 Miles Below does get priority that day, so might need to do a double chapter friday for Die Trying.

7/13/2025: Patreon's UI isn't letting me log in on my phone today, it's blocking me with a cloudflare bot-checker page when I try to create new post. I can't update Die Trying with chapters until I'm back home. Will update after my work shift!

3/27/2025: Epilogue dropped for Book 7, and Book 5 is on KU! I will be taking a one month break before book 8, and patreon billing will be PAUSED for the next cycle. It will resume on april 27th!

3/13/2025: This chapter's done and is sitting at 4.2K but it's a pretty important one and I don't think it's landing right just yet. Need to tweak it, will post tomorrow!

2/27/2025: Work's just horrible and everything's on fire. The chapter is complete, but the dialogue doesn't feel right to me. I'll sleep on it, reset my head, and tweak it until it feels like it's ready, should post around noon tomorrow. Hopefully after I can get a head start over the weekend once I'm off work. 7/4/2024: 4th of July and there's a convention with friends happening at LA right now that I'm attending. Tried to get a backlog going but the last chapter got out of hand. Will aim to post today's chapter tomorrow and then take a one chapter break to wrap up the con!

7/1/2024: There some reveals in this chapter that I want to make sure land well, might take a little more time to cook. Next few chapters should be pretty straightforward to write though!

6/13/2024: Heads up! Updated chapters for both lower tiers, but there will be a pause while the top tier continues to pile up chapters back to where they should be, and Royal Road is being paused currently for the same reason.

6/04/2024: Move out is getting more intense, since it's a long distance trip to where I'm going. Taking a lot of time to both juggle the few different gigs I've got keeping me afloat, paperwork with the leasing office and other gotcha's, while also writing and editing. I'll release a double chapter later this week once they're ready!

6/03/2024: Still in the middle of moving, chapter's done-ish but it reads like filler right now and doesn't move the plot forward. I think it needs another day to cook, so I can re-read it with fresh eyes and fix up the issue

4/18/2024: First contact between birb and human is turning out harder to write in a way that's less dry. Too much back and forth questions on things readers already know, having a hard time writing it. Might need another day to cook since I keep re-writing sections :[
Also keep flipping between thinking I should write from Keith's PoV or from Kres's. Getting lost in the sauce on what's fun to read vs what's too dry. If anyone's got requests on what they're most looking forward to, let me know and that'll give me a direction to write. Can't tell what dialogues people are looking forward to vs what's just already known and could be glossed over

1/4/2024: Got back at 2AM from the road trip. Calculating that I am three chapters behind - one from the prior week before holiday, and two more for this current week. I'll be posting these chapters along with next week's chapters for a total of five chapters, but posting schedule might be all over the place. End goal is five chapters by the end of next week, whenever they're ready to post.

1/06/2023: Currently writing out the ending of book 4, to be delivered in one large batch of chapters sometime next week probably. After that, I'll take the rest of the month off. Billing for this month is turned off.

12/26/2022: Only able to post one chapter today, which puts us back on regular track. But with the holidays happening right now, the next time I post will be the rest of the chapters in book 4 + epilogue. I'm not sure when I'll be done with them all though, given I need to be with family for these weeks.
