Quiet, slim, lonely boy with god grades succeed in being “invisible” in highschool until a one week “field trip” to another country with the purpose of going to museums and historic sites. Sleeping arrangements are 4 students of same sex in each room. The first evening on the trip the 3 other boys in his room decides to play a prank on him while he takes a shower, and throws all his clothes out the window. It ends in a dumpster that is moved 10 minutes later. Panic, ridicule and chaos ensues and three girls from the only room that is not full decides to lend him some gender neutral clothes and shoes, that actually fits. The supervising teachers decides to move him to another room, but as he has no real friends among the students, the only ones that are willing to take him in are the three girls that lent him their clothes. The story can now enfold during the rest on the trip, allowing the hiding girl to emerge. A part two could go on to tell the story of what happens after she gets home.

Boy from a poor family always receives bag of hand-me-downs from local community swap (church?) but for reasons (maybe the family arrives late, or families with boys have moved away or whatever) there are only bags of girls clothes left. With the family too poor to get clothes elsewhere, he 'bravely' agrees to make do (maybe choosing one with mostly jeans and less of the feminine flashy tshirts), but then over the course of wearing the clothes comes to love being feminine and eventually comes out.
