The choice is here to either help or not. By helping a number of possibilities and weird situations are possible, but there is also the timing of getting to school on time to consider - which is solvable. Rejection brings the story on a darker path, which I really do not want to explore. Helping could reveal one or more getting a new life and punishments being lifted faster. I would like the story to end up with more than one happy teenage girl.

What if the daughter gets her powers while still in tie form, which allows only the dad to use them so long as he is wearing her. The dad then tries to get revenge instead of turning his daughter back. In the ensuing chaos, his wife at least manages to swap their bodies again. The daughter becomes irate and punishes both of them, but her actions get other witches involved and they all face some kind of punishment together.
