Again - a real moment between me and my mum. The jeans, sadly - I'd stolen them from a friend (Yes, I know... just awful. The urge to wear them was just too great and I couldn't stop myself)I did however expertly smuggle them back into her house without anyone knowing.....ADDITIONAL - now I've actually played this memory back in my mind... I think she knew, but she saw how flustered I'd become and didn't want me to feel bad so she made up a reason for them to be there....

Surely she must have known. People don't tend to forget their jeans when they leave lol

The closest I have come to a similar situation, was when I forgot to put my sister’s clothes (red top, tartan pleated skirt, long white socks, blue strappy sandals) back - only happened once. Whole family in attendance - three younger siblings, father + mother. Both parents knew, siblings had no idea what was going on. Mother left the room (she was transgender in denial - did not have the nerves to stay). Father tried to out me - did not work - he gave up (he also had some gender diversity to hide). Communication would have helped, but both sides refused to open up. Happened a few days before high school graduation..
