For those who have been around since the early days, you'll remember this story. Sadly, I never got past the cliffhanger of part 4

Anyways, I've been looking to hire an additional creative writer to help me. Under my supervision, we should see new parts of this story coming out in the near future.

Essentially, Simon and Olivia are 'soul-bonded,' and they switch places, unable to swap back.

I understand why you did not complete the story. The rules of the powers are unclear. If I have to guess, I can see following possibilities for Omnis to be defeated, knocked out, teleported away or similar: 1. Olivia also has a suppressed power. 2. Omnis does not notice the soul bond. 3. Omnis misgenders Simon’s soul. 4. Simon’s soul is too well protected. 5. An instant soul switch occurs. 6. The souls of Olivia and Simon combine. 7. Ester finds a way to knock Omnis out. 8. Simon’s power use has awoken an ancient entity. Generally using power to attack a powerful being is a bad idea - using the power to deflect seems to be a much better idea - the attacker shows their abilities, giving the defender a better chance of a successful counterattack.
