This isn't a new project or anything don't worry. It's actually an old thing I gave up on and came upon while browsing through my documents earlier, figured I'd upload it here. It was something I started right after Volume 8 of Rwby finished and I was supremely pissed off about what they did to my boy Jimmy Ironwood.

__________________

As you finished packing away your clothes, weapons and other such necessities for your journey, you took a moment to just look around your bedroom.

It was odd to call it that, seeing as it was an Atlas Academy dorm room usually meant for students at the prestigious hunter school. But, your father lived out of his office at this point, as the Headmaster of the Academy, and while he did own a mansion, he had deemed it important you stay close by his side growing up. As such, for years this dorm room had been your bedroom, you'd grown up within the academy and been taught and trained here for as long as you could remember.

For a long time, you had assumed you would be staying here when you finally started taking the classes at the academy, but a few months ago, something had happened, something bad, though you do not know what, it was something that had spooked your father. Something that eventually ended up with him wanting you to head to Beacon Academy to train instead, and two years early at that.

Sighing, you sat down on one of the four beds, the one nearest the window and pulled your scroll. A new scroll at that, custom made by Pietro with the greatest of encryption software. And there was a reason for that. You input your password and went through the files before settling on an image. An image of a woman, the entire reason why you were being sent to Beacon Academy and why your father went through so much trouble pulling strings to get you in two years early.

Codename: Autumn.

According to your father, she was being kept in a life support machine under Beacon Academy. The top secret mission your father had given you, was to kill her and drain her with your semblance and possibility obtain her aura and power yourself. Though, only if it looked like things were going bad. He did not elaborate much on that, only that someone was looking for Amber to kill her themselves, and it was very important that they never get the chance. So you were to keep an eye on things, and should it look like someone was attempting to get to Amber, get to her first and kill her.

You did not understand why it was so important, and your father claimed that he was oath bound to not reveal why. In the end, you could only trust in your father and accept the mission. That was a soldiers duty in the end, even if killing this defenceless, very pretty girl would leave a very bad taste in your mouth. Your semblance was not a kind thing, and not something to be used on a person unless they truly deserved it.

Indeed, only a truly monstrous person deserved you using your semblance upon them.

You would have stared at the image of your target for a while longer, if not for a hand knocking on your door breaking you from your stupor.

You quickly shut off your scroll and stowed it back away in your pocket before standing up and making your way over to open the door.

A familiar, incredibly attractive white haired woman stood in the entrance, white uniform gleaming and a rapier sheathed at her waist, her long graceful arms crossed behind her back.

Winter Schnee, Ex-Heiress of the Schnee Dust Corporation, one of the top specialist agents of the Atlas Military and your fathers right hand.

It took supreme control only learned through rigorous military training under your father to stop your eyes from dropping to her chest and ogling the way her voluptuous chest stretched out her uniform.

"Good morning Chad," she greeted you with a tight nod, "General Ironwood sent me to collect you, the aircraft set to bring you to Beacon Academy is ready and waiting."

"Morning Winter," you nodded back in greeting, thankfully you didn't need to use her titles since you weren't an official part of the military, yet. "Just give me a second to grab my suitcases."

"Good to see you are prepared and punctually ready." Winter praised you lightly with a small smile.

You smiled back at her, before making your way over to your two large suitcases and picking them up.  Then you left the room behind, but not before locking in behind you. It was still your bedroom after all, even if you're leaving. You will be keeping the key card that unlocks the digital lock.

Moments later, you were following behind Winter as she led you through the vast and pristine hallways of Atlas Academy and towards the schools aircraft runway.

"You've done well Chad," Winter spoke as you walked, "To think you're only fifteen years old and yet you're already being accepted at Beacon Academy. Though, I suppose I should not be surprised with how strong you are already."

With her walking ahead of you and knowing her habits as well as you do, you had no problem allowing your eyes to drop down to her lower back and settle on the large rounded swell of her ass stretching out those tight white pants of hers.

"Still not as good as you." you replied.

The white haired beauty chuckled lightly, "Do not sell yourself short, for your age your strength is quite absurd," she replied, "The only thing you truly lack is experience and that will come with time. In a few years, I will not be surprised if you have utterly surpassed me."

You felt your chest puff out with pride at her words. Winter, was not only beautiful, but a prodigy herself and one of the strongest hunter or huntress in the world according to your father. And one thing you knew about her, after having known her for years, was the fact that she did not mince her words, and did not give praise lightly.

"I'll do my best to exceed your expectations then." you grinned lightly. Especially since that now you were actually getting out and joining one of the academies you'd no doubt be able to run into more and more types of Grimm and be able to use the part of your semblance you actually relished in using.

"I'll hold you to that," you saw Winter nod her head, just as you both arrived at the stairs leading up to the runway. She stood at the side of the staircase and gestured for you to make your way up, "Your father, General Ironwood is waiting for you up there, I believe he wants to have a talk with you alone before you head out."

"Right," you nodded, before you made your way up you smiled at her, "Thanks Winter, I'll see you at the Vytal Tournament I assume?"

"You will, I'll be accompanying General Ironwood," Winter smiled back. You nodded at her, and were about to make your way up the stairs, when she held her hand out blocking you, "Oh and Chad? Please try to be a bit more subtle with your ogling. I could practically feel your gaze burning into my backside."

..Ah, she caught you.

You froze for a moment, before huffing out a breath of amusement, "I'll miss you Winter, I don't think many women who caught me like that would let me get away with it so easily," you replied, before smirking lightly at her, "And I'll take your advice into consideration. I'll be more discreet the next time I ogle your fantastic body."

Winter sighed, shaking her head, but a small amused smile of her own spread across her face, "Really, you're far too bold for your own good," she mused, "If I didn't already know how dedicated you are to your training and improvement, I'd think you'd been corrupted into just another teenage hornball."

"What can I say Winter, you're just too beautiful and bring out the worst in me," you replied, smirk stretching a bit, "Though, can you blame me? There's very few women who can measure up to your charming looks."

You were very pleased to see a light flush spread across the older woman's cheeks, "You're a dastardly little flirt you know that?," she snorted, reaching up to scratch her cheek lightly, "Go on now, don't keep your father waiting." she shooed me off with her other hand.

"Like I said, I can't help it around you Winter, you bring the beast out in me." you teased, but waved at her and did as she said after bidding her goodbye.

You really would miss having Winter around to brighten your days and work as eye candy.

You made your way upstairs, the great big doors at the top sliding open automatically at your approach and allowing you to step out into the runway. Your eyes landed on your father almost immediately, tall, black of hair and broad shouldered, dressed in his immaculate white uniform.

His face lit up when his eyes met yours, "Chad, good morning!" he raised his large calloused hand into air to greet you, his only flesh and blood hand left actually, "I hope you slept well."

"Well enough father." you nodded and replied as you made your way over to him, hefting your suitcases alongside you.

"Just dad is fine for now son," he clapped you on the shoulder and took one of the suitcases from you, even though they were easy to lift, "The only soldier around right now is in the ship and can't hear us." he jabbed his finger over to the ship that would be transporting you to Beacon Academy.

An Atlesian Manta, one of the fastest ships in existence, a fighter jet designed for rapid transportation between the kingdoms, out speeding Grimm and hitting hard and fast before getting out of dodge. A ship you actually know how to pilot. Required knowledge that came with the military training you had been put through.

"Right, dad." you agreed.

James Ironwood was the General of the Atlas Military, the Headmaster of Atlas Academy and held two seats on the Atlas Council. He did not have a lot of free time, as such when you did get to see him, most of the time it was spent on ceremony and having to be respectful and polite.

"How are you feeling?" he asked you, "Nervous? I know it might be nerve wracking attending classes with people older than you, but just remember you are more than ready to become a student at one of the Academies, you're well above even the average first year we have here at Atlas, and as you know our student selection process is much more intense than that of other academies."

Yeah, no kidding. The exams for the Atlas Academy were in four parts. A theoretical test, a survival test, a grimm extermination test and an outright combat test.

"No, I'm fine, looking forward to it even Dad." you replied truthfully. Beyond your mission, you couldn't actually wait to get to Beacon. You'd been confined to Atlas most of your life, and while living in the sky was amazing, it felt like a bit of a gilded cage sometimes. The only times you'd even been down to Mantle had been for a few extermination missions for Grimm, and one bandit tribe hunt alongside the Ace-Ops and where you first learned that your Semblance could be used on humans when you ended up killing the bandit leader.

This was your chance to go out without an escort. See the world, or well Vale at least and experience a bunch of new things. You couldn't deny, that as much as you loved here, your home, that the strict military policies couldn't get tiring at times.

"Good, good," your dad smiled, before sobering lightly, "I know this is a lot to ask of you son, I just hope you understand that I'm only doing it for the good of everyone. You're the only one I can trust to make sure everything goes right for us, should the worst look to be in sight."

"And you won't tell me why it's so important I use my semblance on her if I find people going after her?" You asked.

"I'm sorry," he shook his head, "Even just revealing where Amber is to you is breaking much of the trust others have in me, to do even more will be outright betrayal."

You almost ached to know why he was so insistent on you using your semblance to try and take her power rather than let someone else kill her and let it disappear. What was so important about her power? But, you trusted your father. For as long as you could remember, he'd been looking for ways to defeat the Grimm and protect the world, not just Atlas. If he was so serious about you needing to take this girls power yourself, then you would.

"It's fine dad, I get it." you assured him.

He sighed in relief and gave you a large smile, "Thank you son," he squeezed your shoulder in gratitude, "..Though do keep in mind, using your semblance on Amber is a last resort. There is a chance we can save her still, so unless you believe someone has found her and is going after her, do not end her life."

"Gotcha." you nodded in understanding. You'd much prefer that option. Hopefully you never would have to go through with it

"You're a good lad Chad," your father praised you, and began then leading you into the Manta, "Try to enjoy yourself while your there. And pay close to attention to your godfather, he may seem a bit odd at times, but there is much you can learn from a man like Ozpin."

Ozpin huh? You'd only ever met the man a few times. The journey between Atlas and Vale was not a trip made lightly after all. Well, not unless you had access to something like the Manta, but it was a recent creation, only made in the last few years.

It wasn't long later you found yourself seated within the Manta, looking down at your father as he waved up at you while it rose into the air. You smiled down at him and waved back, and then a few moments later the ship was shooting off, zooming through the air towards the Kingdom of Vale.

____________________

The trip from Atlas to Vale was long, and while admittedly a bit boring, that was not to say there weren't some very interesting sights. Like natural land deposits of gravity dust floating in the sky, or even the vast expanse of greenery you could see when you flew over the Mistral continent.

Atlas was a city floating in the sky and Mantle was a city that lay at the foot of a snowy mountain. There wasn't much natural grass around beyond the artificial farm outside the city gates of Atlas.

It may have just been grass, trees, forests and greenery for as far as the eye could see, but it was quite the new experience for you. You'd really like to get out and explore the place on foot one day.

Alas, that day was not today. So, after a bit you just continued on with what you were doing before. The true blue entertainment method that any teenage male should be well versed in.

Video Games.

You had a lot of them on your scroll. From Grimm Master Five, to Ultimate Hunter Fighter Z. And the FPS and gaming specs of your scroll just made it all the more enjoyable an experience. Truly, you had to thank Pietro for doing such great work on this newly upgraded scroll of yours.

It was too bad you couldn't see Penny before you headed off. She was going adjustments due to a few *ahem* suggestions you had made to her and Pietro.

Still, when you finally arrived in Vale, more than twelve hours had passed during the flight even with the speed of the Manta you were on. Dusk had already begun to fall over Vale when the ship cruised into the air above the city.

You had made good time all things considered. You weren't due at Beacon until tomorrow with the other students after all. That was why, with this opportunity presented to you, you decided to get out and have some fun.

You ordered the pilot flying the Atlesian Manta to drop your things off at Beacon Academy, before throwing open the door. It was funny that despite you not actually being a hunter yet or even a soldier despite you having completed the training of one, that the pilot obeyed your orders. That came from two things, one you being flat out stronger than him by a wide margin, and two that you were the famous son of General Ironwood and were expected to do great things. Really, even without a rank, it seemed he thought you outranked him regardless.

You looked down over the city from above, a good few hundred feet in the air, before with a grin you jumped out and plummeted to the streets below with a whoop of excitement.

You landed on the pavement hard, absorbing the impact with your aura. People walking the streets stopped and stared at you in shock as you stood to your full towering height, above most adults despite only being fifteen years old and looked around yourself, "Now, where should I go?" you mused. You'd never been to Vale proper before.

And now free to go at your own command, you were excited to explore. You hadn't been this excited since Neon Katt from the Atlas Academy got you into a nightclub a few months back. That was a good night.

"Let's see." you hummed, pulling out your scroll and bringing up a map of Vale. You had time to waste and plenty of money with a direct card to your family's bank account.

You may have not been a Schnee, but thanks to your father your family accounts were right up there with the stodgy rich elite.

There were a surprising amount of Dust Stores in Vale. And a surprising amount of them had been robbed recently. By Roman Torchwick it seemed. A famous petty thief name, even in Atlas.

Sadly, because of what time it was, some of the more interesting places were already shut for the night. Like the local gym and hunter facilities. And sadly, the few nightclubs you'd tried to hit up rebuffed you because you were too young. You'd really need to look into getting a fake ID at some point.

For the good of the mission of course.

Even all the gaming places and arcades were closed for the night, or at least the ones you could find.

You were almost about to call it a night when you passed by another nightclub. Though, this one had the front doors broken off its hinges and the bouncers outside were all bandaged up. Hell, even the windows were blown apart and shattered. It looked like someone had set off a pretty large and high quality dust explosive to be honest.

Interest piqued you made your way over to it. "You guys open?" you asked.

One of the bouncers, clad in a dark snazzy looking suit and red tie, with red sunglasses and a massive bruise on his face nodded, "Yeah, boss has the place open for business," he jerked his thumb towards the doors, "Though, the place is trashed cuz of a rowdy huntress picking a fight last night, so it isn't in the best condition."

A huntress huh? That explained the damage. You made a note to let your father know to keep an eye out for suspicious figures like that trashing bars in Atlas. No Hunter, nor Huntress should be allowed to run riot like this just because of their strength. Sadly, outside of Atlas it wasn't uncommon for hunters to abuse their strength like that.

It was that reason why your father created the Atlas Specialist program. Not only as elite huntsmen trained to devastate the Grimm, but also as anti-huntsmen fighters.

"I can still get a drink though right?" you asked. Your father did not approve of drinking, something about a friend of his who was a terrible alcoholic. Alcohol was not good for the body of a trained fighter, more in the sense that it impaired performance and was in general very unhealthy.

You did not need to worry about that. Not with the extra Semblance you had gotten from the bandit leader you had killed and used your semblance on. It was a regeneration semblance, and one of the benefits it provided, was dealing with any unwanted problems after getting completely wasted. It did come with its downsides though, it meant you burned through an alcoholic buzz way faster than normal people.

The bouncer looked you up and down, his head having to go turn up to meet your eyes, then he shrugged, "You seem old enough I guess," he shrugged, "Go on." he waved you in.

No asking for an ID huh? While it was against the law, it was working on your favour and you were not a licensed huntsman or anything like that currently, so it wasn't your problem.

Thanking him, you made your way inside and whistled when you stepped out into the nightclub itself. It was a pretty nice place with two bottom levels. The first bottom level being a wide open square dance floor leading to a bar, while a few small staircases led to an upper level filled with tables for people to sit and drink at.

All in all, it would have bee a really really nice place. If the dance floor wasn't cracked and cratered at bits, stained with blood ad most of the tables and such weren't broken, tons of debris laying all over the place. Man, whoever this huntress was she didn't hold back at all.

There were quite a few guys dressed in the same black suits as the bouncers outside toiling away picking the debris up and in general looking to be fixing up the club. And from the looks of it, there were only a few patrons.

Your eyes landed on a specific one sitting up at the bar nursing a glass of something. She was an exotic, curvaceous beauty for sure. Dusky brown skin, emerald green hair. Your eyes were drawn to the bodacious rounded ass stretching out those white combat jeans of hers. They looked a lot like yours actually, only yours were male and they looked way better on her than they did you.

You were not going to lie. That was perhaps the best ass you had ever seen, even better than Winter and Bree's!

______________________

Emerald sighed as she placed her glass of whiskey down on the bar counter after taking a sip. The burn felt good going down her throat. Made her feel warmer inside and chased away the thoughts of those times she spent freezing out in the streets.

And the light buzz she had made it easier to accept that she had been kicked to the curb for the next few months while Cinder played around with that twit Torchwick and kept those White Fang freaks on a leash.

She'd been here, alone, for over a month now. Even that twit Mercury had been taken along by Cinder because she had need of his 'skills'.

It wasn't all bad she supposed. She had an apartment, albeit a small one to lay low in and had enough money left by Cinder for her efforts in helping her with that Maiden chick. But, it would have been nice to get some appreciation for all she had done.

If it weren't for her, they would have been swarmed by he White Fang that first time they met when Cinder lacked her half of the Fall Maiden's power. If it wasn't for her semblance, they never would have defeated Amber in the first place and would have been killed. And even after that, if it weren't for her Semblance again giving them the edge, Cinder even with her Maiden powers may have lost to that crazy little monster freak Neo when they recruited her and Torchwick.

...She hadn't got a single thank you since Cinder recruited her despite the devotion and loyalty she had shown. She hadn't go a single 'well done' after all she'd accomplished for her. Yet she'd pick that dick Mercury over her for a special mission? What could he even do besides kick people?

The chair beside her was pulled out, breaking her from her thoughts. She looked out the corner of her eye to see a boy taking a seat beside her and ordering a whiskey on the rocks.

She withheld a snort as the mook behind the bar took his order without asking for his ID. The kid was tall, really tall, easily being six feet and he was built like a brick house, his biceps must have been at least twice the size of Mercury's. But despite that, despite how finely cut his hair was into short black spikes and the gleaming black earring hanging from his left ear, she could tell he was a boy still.

She'd always been good at reading people. She'd had to be, it was what allowed her to survive on the streets for so long. And she had this kid pegged as seventeen at the most. It was the slight bit of rounded baby fat in his cheeks that clued her in mostly and the slightly wide eyed way he took in the bar and hesitated slightly with his order and picking the most obvious mans drink there was.

Well, at the very least, he was handsome, she'd give him that. Not many could pull off that kind of build and have a face as nice as his to go along with it. He had the kind of build she used to wish and imagine a father figure who would come to save her had as a child. Not like the lean, pretty boy build Mercury and many hunters had nowadays but a true blue mans build.

He'd probably make some lucky girl feel all safe and protected in the near future. Good for her she supposed.

He turned to her as the mook went about filling his glass and sent a boyishly charming smile her way, immaculate straight white teeth practically shining, "Hey," he greeted her, his dark eyes glancing lightly at her half drank glass of whiskey, "Nice drink, looks like I'm not the only one with good taste."

She snorted. How cute, looked like he was trying to hit on her. He'd probably come over to sit beside her because of the view of her ass from behind.

"So I know why I'm here," he continued, sending a raised eyebrow her way, "But what brought you here to this busted up bar?"

"Nothing different than usual, I've been haunting this place for a month now," Emerald shrugged. May as well indulge him for now, and pass the time, she had little else to do right now beyond drinking and lazing about waiting for Cinder to get back in touch with her whenever that would be. If he wasn't worth it in the end, well he looked like a rich boy, so she could probably get a little something from picking his pockets. Though why he was out and about in a designer pair of white combat jeans, a high brand designer short sleeve black muscle top and black boots was beyond her, kid should be bearing a jacket, Vale got cold at night, "It's usually a pretty nice place, would still be if some spoiled little huntress bitch didn't throw a tantrum just because she didn't get the answer she wanted."

His other eyebrow rose, "Oh you were there?" he asked, leaning over a bit more in interest, "I heard about it from one of the bouncers outside."

Hmm. No visible startling. No gossipy vibrant attitude. Her eyes flickered to one of his massive biceps. Yeah, he was definitely a trained fighter then. A huntsman trainee then? Odd he didn't have his weapons on him though, the vast majority of trained huntsmen never let their weapons out of sight unless it was some big social function that required them not to have said weapons on hand.

"No I just know the owner," she replied blandly. Roman had introduced her, Cinder and Mercury to the place a little while back, "This place doubles as an information broker service. Bitchy huntress trainee came in demanding answers for something without even paying for the information, then when she didn't get the answers she wanted she attacked Junior, the owner of this place by surprise and then started trashing everyone and everything after it." really, she wasn't one to talk about doing horrible things to people, but at least she wasn't claiming to be some protector of the people and doing shit like that.

If bitches like that were supposed to be the good guys, then really what was the difference between Emerald herself and them?

"Is that so?" the kid mused, leaning back in his chair, "So if the owner is an information broker, does he have a name for this girl?"

"Xiao Long, I think her second name was, some cow titted blonde bimbo with shotgun gauntlets," Emerald replied with another shrug, before sending a lazy smile his way, "Why, you gonna do something about it kid?" she asked, amused at the thought. Go on righteous do gooder, and all that crap right? If nothing else getting another trainee pissed off at another would be funny.

"Something like that," he snorted, though didn't elaborate, interesting. His eyes did dip to her chest though and a smirk grew on his face, "Cow tits though? Isn't that like the pot calling the kettle black."

"Would be, if my ass wasn't even better than my tits," Emerald snorted right back. Her tits pretty were damn big themselves, big ol' fat tits just like her ass really. Her figure had really sprouted out fully once she started eating properly, "You should know, I'm fairly certain the only reason you sat beside me is because you liked the view of me from behind." she raised a green eyebrow at him challengingly.

"Well it certainly helped, I won't lie about that," he grinned at her, not embarrassed at all on her calling him out on just a hunch, "But, best ass I've ever laid eyes on or not, I have to admit that your hair drew my attention just as much, if not more so. It goes really well with your skin."

"Is that so?" Emerald hummed, smiling a bit in spite of herself. She'd give the kid this, he was good with his words and he was bold enough to follow through and not get caught up. Probably not some little virgin then.

"Yep, very exotic. I've been around a lot of beautiful women, but even amongst them you'd stand out," he winked at her and swivelled around in his chair to hold his hand out to her, palm open, even as she felt her cheeks heat up a bit at the completely honest praise of her looks, "I'm Chad Ironwood, nice to meet you."

...Ironwood!?

It took most of her self restraint not to let her eyes widen in shock. Now that was a famous name, and not just because of the General of Atlas. Chad Ironwood already had news stations reporting on him, as some kind of super prodigy huntsman trainee, who had already subjugated hordes of Grimm and bandit tribes. There were literal huntsman fan websites with dozen page long debates on who would win in a fight between him and Pyrrha Nikos.

When Mercury first showed her one of them, she'd thought he would be the winner. Because unlike Nikos, she could read between the lines and Chad Ironwood had already obviously been blooded.

To think she'd run into a guy like that here in Junior's bar. The world really was a small place wasn't it?

"..Emerald," she grasped his hand lightly and shook it, "So Ironwood huh? What brings you here to Vale?" This was a good opportunity, Cinder would be very interested in finding out about such a high profile person being in Vale.

And it now made sense why he seemed so confident when getting that bimbo's name. One word to iron daddy and she'd be on watch list. Emerald found herself almost grinning at the thought. Served the prissy little bimbo bitch right.

"I'm joining Beacon this year," he casually replied with a smile, "Nothing all that interesting. Well, at least not compared to my interest in you."

Wasn't Chad Ironwood only fifteen years old? Well now, super prodigy indeed. Cinder really would need to know about him. A guy like this could be a real threat to her plans, especially when they ended up at Beacon Academy later. Cinder was sure the Maiden Amber was being kept there.

Should she let him bed her? He was obviously into her, and it would be easier to get information out of him.

...No, she decided. He was good looking, but she wasn't about to throw away her self respect like that just for some information she could probably coax out just by talking to him a bit longer.

"I mean, a girl like you, sitting here sipping whiskey herself and you've been hanging around here for a month?" he raised an eyebrow at her, just as his own glass of whiskey was placed down in front of him, "Something has to be bothering you." he grasped the glass while not looking away from her and brought it to his lips, and then before her eyes downed the glass whole without even a grimace. Looked like he was much more used to alcohol than she first assumed.

Well, tit for tat she supposed? "Suppose you could say I'm questioning if what I'm doing is worth it," Emerald replied with a humourless smile, a bit of the truth could get her further, a guy like this would probably be well able to spot outright lies, "I was given a place to mean something thanks to my skills and semblance. But even after all the work I've done, even being the one carrying the workload most of the time, I've not been thanked a single time." it wasn't even like Cinder really paid her or anything. The money they had all came from Torchwick, Cinder just held onto it all and basically gave her an 'allowance'. Which, when she thought about it wasn't very fair considering how much Emerald did in the grand scale of things.

"Well that sounds sucky," his nose drew up in distaste, "Even the biggest fuck ups in the Atlas Military were thanked for their service before being let go. Is the pay at least worth it?"

Emerald opened her mouth to reply, before pausing. She...actually didn't know. She was a street rat, she was never that good with balancing money, and she wasn't sure what her pay rate should be. But, now that she thought on it, it should be bigger than an amount needed to rent a small apartment, keep her fridge decently full and buy some cheap drinks at a dingy bar. She knew what she was getting at least wasn't even one percent of what they got from Roman. She may have never went to school, but she was smart enough to know that much.

"..I dunno," she shrugged, maybe it was the buzz getting to her, maybe it was just his build giving her that nostalgic feeling she had as a kid and wanting to be protected with someone telling her she would be okay, maybe she was just an idiot, but she found herself being a bit more truthful with this kid, "How much is good money?"

"Depends on how much effort you put in or how much risk your in, things like that," he shrugged, "Like the standard Atlesian soldier private gets paid two thousand lien a month."

Emerald almost spat out her drink that she'd begun sipping on again. Two thousand lien!? For one of those weak ass grunts that just guarded places and shot down weak grimm from afar!? The literal lowest rank in the military?

Beyond the apartment, Cinder had only given her a thousand lien before heading off with Mercury to survive on.

"And I dunno about Beacon," Chad continued on, "But students at the Atlas Hunter Academy get a budget of two thousand lien a month themselves, to keep their equipment in top shape or augment it. That's not including anything they make from the mission boards that they can freely except jobs from after they've been a student for six months."

And she got...a crappy little apartment and a thousand lien....for dealing with the Maiden, Neo and Torchwick and the White fucking Fang?

She could run literal circles around any average fucking hunter trainee, both with her skills as a fighter and her semblance.

Emerald shook her head, 'No wait, that's not the point. Cinder gave me somewhere to belong, the money isn't important.' she told herself. Cinder had to value her right? She just wasn't the type to give praise lightly, that was all...right?

"Though your semblance huh?" the kid hummed, scratching his chin, "What kind of one is it? Sounds like it must be a pretty good one if you were recruited for it."

"It's-" she was about to reveal her semblance to him before catching herself. She didn't really mind revealing it, if just to find out what this kid thought of it himself, but she was interested in learning more about him as well, if only for Cinder's sake, really, "Well, how about you show me yours and I'll show you mine?" she smirked at him challengingly.

His eyebrows rose before a chuckle burst out of him, "Well alright, I'm game," he replied, "Though, my semblance isn't anywhere near as pretty as you."

"Is that so?" Emerald propped her chin up on her fist and raised her eyebrow at him.

"Yep, it's a pretty horrible, even evil semblance," he nodded, "See, it's called Conqueror. It lets me absorb the power the first species of any Grimm I kill, making me stronger and even possibly gaining their powers, like how Manticore's can breath fire."

Interesting. That was a really powerful Semblance. And one she definitely needed to warn Cinder about. What would happen if he got into a fight with Cinder and managed to kill that grimm thing she kept in her arm? Would he steal those Maiden powers from it? No wonder the news was praising him as some super prodigy, with a semblance like that and all the types of Grimm in the world, he could become a complete juggernaut.

Though, that did bring up one question, "How is that evil though?" she wondered.

"Cuz it's not only grimm it works on see," he gave her a sardonic grin, "I found out not long ago, it even works on people. I can absorb their aura after killing them, making my own aura larger and even possibly take their semblances as well."

Her eyes went wide this time at the second revelation. Yeah, she could definitely see how he might consider that evil. Aura was connected to the very soul of the user. It was their soul in a sense. Absorbing it into himself and gaining their semblance that was the true facet of them as person born from their soul? Well, that sounded like he was eating their souls.

"Not very nice huh?" he looked down at his empty glass a little wistfully, "I've only used it on another person once thankfully and by accident. But it's definitely the semblance of a monster."

The sad frown on his face made him look almost like a kicked puppy. A guy built like him, kid or not should not be able to look like that. Guess even for a goody two shoes kid of Ironwood things weren't all sunshine and daisies.

"Illusions," Emerald spoke up after a moment of trying and failing to find something to say in response, the only thing she could truly think was that Cinder definitely wouldn't give a shit about how 'evil' a semblance it was if she had it, and, as much as she didn't want to, she had to ask herself, what did that say about the woman she was following? "Specifically, I can make people see illusions from their own point of view, well and mine." she added when he turned to look at her again.

A thought came to mind, a way to get that kind of annoying sad look off of his face, and a naughty smirk spread across Emerald's face. She used her semblance on him, and made an image of herself appear before him, standing on the bar top, bending down in front of him and twerking her fat ass in front of his face. She wasn't planning on sleeping with him, but showing off like this wasn't really a bother.

"Woah!" his eyes widened, and a grin appeared on his face, that melancholy disappearing almost instantly as his eyes locked onto the rippling, bouncing ass of her illusionary copy stretching out her white jeans to the limit, the strings of her green thong riding up her hips and giving her a whale tail.

Looking at his grin stretching further across his face, she decided, that yeah he suited a grin much better than that sad look.

Emerald found herself snorting in amusement as the kid found himself unable to draw his eyes away from the ass of the illusion of her. She let him watch her fat ass bounce and twerk for a few more moments, before making her illusory clone turn around, bend down and wink at him, giving him a look at the deep cleavage down her crop top, before dismissing the illusion entirely.

"Well, what'ya think?" she grinned at him.

He turned to her, wide eyed, but his own massive grin across his face, "The semblance or the show?" he asked, "Because both are pretty much out of this world."

Emerald couldn't stop the smug pride that built up in her. Seemed she was hot enough that even a guy as famous as this was attracted to her. It felt good to know. She wasn't just that stick thin, street rat runt anymore.

He shook his head, "But in all seriousness, that is an amazing semblance, guess you're just amazing in general huh?" he told her, "I hope you're getting five grand a month at the very least. Because I know for certain my father would pay you at least ten even if you aren't a good fighter to have a semblance like that on call, and would probably put you at the top of the potential list for private training from the best of the best combat tutors and aim to get you on the same playing field as Specialist Operative."

..Wait, what? At least ten grand just for the fact she could make illusions? He really did make the grand Cinder had given her seem like a pittance.

"Actually, how good are you in a fight? And does your semblance effect things other than humans, like Grimm?" he pressed, asking.

"Err, decent I guess?" she shrugged, "I know I'm at least better than most average huntsman academy trainees. And yeah, my semblance can effect anything alive basically, even Grimm. Though, they can still sense human emotion so they it doesn't totally throw them off."

Chad whistled, leaning back in his chair and looking her over, "Okay yeah, I think dad would totally grab you up and get you shooting through the ranks. Maybe fifteen thousand lien a month from the get go until you were Ace-Ops tier? Then you'd probably risen to the starter pay of a Specialist at twenty-five K," he mused, then grinned at her, "Honestly, you seem like the perfect partner for me actually."

Fifteen grand now!? And then twenty five after a while!? He was throwing it out so casually, that she could barely comprehend it. And that was monthly? And it obviously wouldn't be anything as dangerous as taking on a Maiden right? Or fighting Neo. Or those fucking lunatics Adam Taurus and Banesaw.

Quite honestly, it was actually flying a bit over her head. It took a lot of effort to not just gape at the boy.

"Perfect partner for you?" she rose an eyebrow at him, focusing on that last part to not let the shock overwhelm her, "And that isn't just because you'd love to bed me?"

He laughed, "No, you being hotter than the sun is just an amazing benefit," he replied, his eyes then dipped to her weapons sheathed at her thighs, "From the looks of your weapons, you're mainly a long range fighter, and with that illusion semblance you'd make perfect support for me since I'm mainly a close up fighter."

The praise he was dishing out...it was nice. She hadn't actually had anyone compliment her like this before. At least, not truthfully like he was. It was so easy sometimes for her due to her background to pick out when people were being dishonest with her, and lying, and she could tell that he was either the worlds greatest liar, or Chad meant every word he said. His transparency would be god damn annoying, if he was just some naive goody two shoes. But he wasn't. Goody two shoes he might have been, but she'd already saw he had some darkness in him, not like hers, but his own brand.

He understood, and was genuine still. She liked that.

"Yeah, that's pretty much right. My guns can turn into a pair of kama for in close if needed and have kusarigama chains as well, but I'm mostly a long range fighter," she confirmed, "But what about you, how exactly are you close range fighter? You've got no weapons on you, so fist fighter?"

"Well, I can if I want, but no my weapons are just with my luggage on the way to Beacon," he shrugged, "I mainly use a sword and shield combo that can become a bigger sword when put together. simple and easy to use. But, if I had to describe myself in one word..." he trailed off.

His eyes flickered to a large heavyset table, one usually bolted into the flooring and something that five plus people would usually sit at. It was laying just a few feet away at the end of the bar counter. It was something that would take two or three men to lift normally with the weight to it.

Chad hopped off his chair and walked over to it, Emerald watching him all the way. He stopped in front of it and looked over his shoulder at her, before hooking one of his pinkies under the table and...hoisting it into the air as if it were a feather, "Baby, I'm a juggernaut," he boasted proudly, "And this isn't even my final form."

Despite herself, Emerald found herself gaping. She'd never seen anyone with that much raw physical strength before. Not even that massive beast Banesaw could do something that casually with pure brute strength.

_____________________

Two hours later, Emerald found herself alone and making her way back to her apartment. She'd usually have come back earlier, since she didn't have much money to burn on drinks, but Chad had happily footed the bill for more. It was only due to her large tolerance she wasn't stumbling about in a daze.

'Beacon Academy huh?' she mused, a light smile on her face. Well, she had no orders from Cinder at all, she was just told to do as she pleased until she was contacted again. And while she was nineteen, there wasn't a cut off age for joining Beacon, only that they usually needed to be seventeen and graduated a young hunters school or be capable of passing some combat test. Usually it was just a few robots if what Cinder had told her was anything to go by.

The perfect partner. That did sound nice. And the thousand, five hundred lien budget Chad had looked up in his scroll and confirmed, while not as good as the Atlas one, wasn't anything to sneeze at either.

She could admit to herself, she'd enjoyed the past few hours. And would have happily stayed out longer with Chad if he hadn't gotten a text from Headmaster Ozpin of all people and had to head up to Beacon to meet with him about something.

Chad..was fun, and warm. Four years younger than her or not, the kid had something about him that attracted her to him. She couldn't pinpoint any just one thing about him that did it, maybe a combination of them all? His strength, his warmth, his bold confidence, his blatant attraction to her, his genuine praise of her worth.

..If she was early, it should be possible for her to get to Beacon and take the combat test to qualify for the initiation. And it wasn't like Cinder usually needed her for much beyond using her semblance. And if she asked, she could even say she was looking for clues about the maiden for her.

She decided though. She wasn't going to tell Cinder a thing about Chad's semblance. As incredibly powerful and useful as it would be on their side, she had a feeling Cinder would only see him as a threat to her and look to take care of him.

She'd only seen a little, and he'd only told her of the semblance he'd gotten from that bandit leader he killed when he was sloshed after a few dozen glasses of whiskey, and he'd only hinted that the other 'form' he could take due to his semblance could increase his physical abilities. But with what she'd seen of his physical strength, it being able to going even further beyond and the ability to regenerate?

It was just all a bad idea to let Cinder know. Because...there was a good chance it wouldn't be her that won if she picked a fight with him one on one. There was a very good chance Neo would have beaten her after all. Which meant, Cinder would need Emerald herself to help her with her Semblance to reliably win.

And she didn't want that. So keeping mum on the subject was the best route she had.

For now though, she quickly made her way back to her crappy little apartment. She needed to get some sleep, recover and sober up by morning and head up to Beacon.

If Chad wanted her as a partner? Well, she'd give him what he wanted then.

_________________________

"Hello Chad," your godfather greeted you with a warm smile over his spectacles as you stepped off the bullhead onto the Beacon Academy landing strip, "It's been quite a while hasn't it? It's good to see you again."

Headmaster Ozpin was a tall, well built man. He didn't quite have the bear-like build of you and your father, but he wasn't thin enough to be called lean, and he was the same height as your father. And he definitely had the strength to match his height despite being a speed based fighter. You'd only ever seen him spar with your father a few times, but even your father, perhaps the strongest huntsman of Atlas, was soundly defeated. The last time you saw him fight, you could barely even follow the lightning fast blows from his mecha-shift cane weapon.

"Hello uncle," you greeted him with a smile, despite circumstances right now it was good to see him again, "You're looking well."

"Well, fit as fiddle for now I suppose," he smiled at you, raising his ever present mug up to his mouth and taking a sip, "Though, you don't seem to pleased of me to have called you here."

Ah, he caught you out already. Well, dad always said Ozpin was the most intuitive man on Remnant, "I was just having fun, I met this really amazing girl called Emerald," you replied, "I was hoping to spend more time with her but couldn't since you called me and asked me to come."

Emerald was an amazing girl, that really was for sure. Ruby red eyes that went amazingly with her light brown skin tone and emerald green hair. Such a exotic combination of colours you'd never see on anyone before. And her body was out of this world! The best ass you'd ever seen, huge, round and perky all at the same time. With big voluptuous tits to go along with them. Hips that were just so full and grabbable and thick luscious thighs. She beat out even Winter in curves.

But not only that, she had a great personality too. Sarcastic, a realist, easy to talk to, not at all someone you had to mince your words with. You liked that a lot. Not to mention her sheer boldness and the way she showed you her semblance. She had some real, solid confidence to her.

And just with her semblance alone, her usefulness to the Atlas Military could not be underestimated. She had confided, that the size of the target did not matter, only how many targets there were.

Such an amazing Semblance, it would be perfect support for dealing with the likes of Sea Feilong and and Leviathan Grimm. Keeping them confused and easy for the giant mecha for instance at Argus to bring down with the ability to get close easily!

Her usefulness in the war against the Grimm for humanities future could not be underestimated.

You were not lying when you told her she'd be the perfect partner for you. You didn't need someone to tag team with at all. Someone like that would only get in your way in the end. But someone who could support you from the back and keep targets confused and unable to counter you at all? That would be truly helpful.

"Emerald hmm?" Ozpin hummed, "Funny you should say that. It may just be a coincidence, but not ten minutes ago did I get an online application appearing on my scroll for an Emerald Sustrai, nineteen years of age. She was applying to take the combat test so she could be eligible for the Beacon initiation test two days from now."

Your eyes widened. Seriously? Did she actually take what you said to heart and decide to ditch her apparently crappy employer and become a huntress?

"I was going to reject the application, she's a few days late after all," Ozpin mused, before smiling lightly at you, "But I suppose I can make an exception for my godson after all, though Glynda will be quite angry at me again, she's already not too happy with me for accepting you and another one your age in two years early."

"Thanks uncle!" you bounced over and swept the taller man into a great big hug, before what he said fully occurred to you, "Wait, someone else my age got in two years early?" your eyes were wide as you asked..

Another prodigy on your level? You would need to seek them out! Perhaps you could lay inroads for them to join the Atlas Military later as well?

Your uncle Ozpin did a fine job training his students, the only problem was the City of Vale did not have a standing military. As such, most hunters from here became useless mercenaries that never contributed much to the war effort against the Grimm!

That was there prerogative you admitted, but it was such a waste of talent. Especially since they barely made anything monetary wise compared to the glorious Atlesian hunter forces! They could only earn money from missions they took.

The Atlesian Hunters were given a monthly salary, with health benefits, health insurance, the best tech they could get their hands on, and could earn the money from mission just the same!

Atlas clearly had the superior system in place! It was just silly that people refused to accept it. But, you would leave that matter to your father. He would spread the greatness of Atlas to everyone bit by bit!

"Yes, Ruby Rose," your uncle Ozpin smiled down at you, reaching down to ruffle your black spiky hair fondly, "While she doesn't quite measure up to your ow talent quite yet, her semblance, skill and sheer potential leads me to believe she will be a very great huntress in the future."

As expected, your uncle clearly had an eye for talent and was looking to nurture one with great potential instead of leaving them to waste in the lower schools!

You were led into the academy by your uncle. For tonight, it seemed you would be staying in one of the teachers guest rooms until tomorrow where you would be bunking with the other students in the prelude to the initiation.

As for why your uncle called you up to Beacon Academy early? It was simply to see you again and speak once more, he had missed you it seemed.

________________________

After you were done catching up with your uncle...you found yourself a bit too antsy and excited to go to sleep. And not really in the mood to play about on your school.

It just so happened though, that Beacon Academy had a very interesting little extra piece to the campus. The Emerald Forest. Beacon Academy lay on the edge of the city of Vale, and the Emerald Forest had been formed with a massive rock structure around it to keep the grimm within it trapped. Yet, with an opening that led to the outside of the city that let grimm enter.

It was a place designed to give the students of the academy live training practice against Grimm. Ad that was where you headed to have some fun. There was nothing quite like kicking around the grimm for fun!

With your shield shifted into a sheath and hung over your back and your sword sheathed within it, you made your way out of the academy just after midnight and headed to the cliff behind the school that overlooked the Emerald Forest.

It was quite dark out, but thankfully the academy had a light system that shone down on the forest illuminating it. And the drop was only a few hundred feet. Nothing you couldn't deal with just from dropping down and absorbing the impact with a tiny bit of aura.

So that was what you did.

You laded at the bottom of the cliff, and made your way into the forest. And almost immediately, you could hear howls in the distance and bestial sounds all around you.

A roar came from the foliage to your right, and a moment later a large Ursa came barrelling out towards you on all fours, red eyes gleaming with the desire for your death and saliva dripping from its maw. Two more followed behind it for a total of three.

With a roar, it jumped at you, huge paws outstretched, claws gleaming. You swung out your fist, the back of it smacking into the beasts cheek as soon as it was in rage and sent it flying backwards with a pained yelp and the cracking of its neck.

You don't even need your weapons for trash like this!

You darted forward and lunged into a flying knee, crushing the face of one of the others between your blow, then pushed off it to turn to the other one as it skidded to a halt and tried to turn. It wasn't fast enough though, and your fist latched around its throat making it gurgle, and then your other joined it a moment later. You lifted the bear grim into the air by its throat with both hands, throttling it. Before simply jerking its head backwards with your grip and snapping its neck.

You dropped its corpse to the ground, it beginning to flake into black smoke. You turned around as you heard the sound of loud rushing footsteps coming from behind you.

And ducked to the side just in time to avoid a spinning white cannonball launching straight for your head. It tore through a tree behind you before landing and skidding around to face you, coming out of its rolled up shape. A warthog like grimm with white bone armour all over its top and large tusks at its face.

A Boarbatusk.

A Grimm you'd only seen in textbooks and only faced in person through Winter's Schnee Glyph summons.

You felt a grin spread across your face. Because, it was a grimm you'd never truly killed before. And one as such you'd never used your semblance on!

"Pork does sound good right about now." you chuckled.

The Boarbatusk snorted, and pawed the ground with a thick legs preparing to charge at you.

You did not bother moving. Or drawing your sword. Instead you spread your legs and got ready for it.

With a squeal, the pig grimm charged towards you, before leaping into the air and curling into a ball and accelerating through the air towards you like a missile.

You didn't bother moving to dodge, and instead thrust your hands out and caught it just as it was about to slam into you.

The strength and momentum behind it pushed you back a foot or so, your boots digging trenches in the soil beneath you. But that was all, with a grin you lifted it up into the air above you and slammed it head first into the ground hard!

It squealed there on its back, its belly and throat exposed to you. Quickly, you lifted your foot and brought it down, stamping it brutally on its throat. Its neck crunched beneath your blow and snapped, the armoured warthog grimm going limp and dying.

It began to flake into black smoke, but this time, you activated your semblance, spreading your arms wide and drawing the dissipating smoke into yourself.

A rush of energy swept through your body, and you felt your muscles becoming stronger! "Yeah, that's it!" you cheered. It had been so long since you felt this amazing feeling! But now, you were out on your own and could finally hunt all the grimm you wanted.

While you didn't like the human aspect of your semblance. You could not deny that you luxuriated in the feel of taking the strength of a grimm for your own. The filthy trash that they were you would conquer them and take their own power for yourself so that you could one day exterminate them all!

There was nothing quite like the feeling of their necks snapping beneath your fingers and taking what was theirs for yourself. You couldn't wait for the day you choked the life from the likes of a Sei Feilong and took its power for your own!

After you were done with absorbing the Boarbatusk, you made your way deeper into the forest. Bit by bit, more and more grimm rushed you. Packs of beowloves that you tore through with your bare hands, groups of ursai who sought to challenge your strength but failed miserably, and boarbatusk shooting through the air like bullets at you.

It was too bad there weren't any Alpha Beowolves or Ursa Major around, they could usually put up a bit more a fight.

You were honestly about to give up in disappointment when after a half hour of trekking through the forest searching you did not encounter any different grimm.

That was until a surprisingly large pack of beowolves rushed you, and while you were busy dealing with them, you caught sight of a massive serpentine form in your peripheral vision.

You jumped into high into the air, right above two massive snake heads, one white and one black, maws wide open that crunched down on a pair off unlucky beowolves.

Your eyes widened as you looked below you and delight filled you. It was, a King Taijitu!

A massive grimm consisting of two huge serpent grimm conjoined at the tails! Now this was what you were talking about!

You would not lie. You were tempted to attempt to crush their skulls with your bare hands. But, Taijitu were known for their powerful poison that could even burn through aura quickly. Best not to risk it...for now.

The black head spat out the smoking corpse of the beowolf in its mouth, before with a hiss it swivelled around and shot up towards you, maw opening wide to swallow you whole.

Your hand went to the sword hilt hanging over your shoulder, and you grasped it. With a click of a button on it, you felt as the sheath shifted around it spreading out into a thicker blade as you pulled your weapon, now in the form of a thick greatsword over at the ready and swung it down.

The huge black snake head squealed in pain as you sliced it in twain, separating it around you as you free fell downwards.

The huge white scaled head gave a hissing squeal and turned, rapidly shooting around to come at you from the side, even as its other half began to flake away into black smoke like any other grimm.

You turned and blocked its massive fangs dripping with venom with the flat of your blade. The force of the hit though pushed you backwards through the air since you had no purchase to stand atop and absorb the blow with your strength!

Thinking quickly, you pushed punched your sword hard with both hands and the huge snake grimm's fangs cracked from the force travelling through the blow and drew backwards, hissing in pain.

You dropped to the ground as it reared back, and jumped into the air as soon as you touched the ground. You caught your falling mecha shift blade and thrust it upwards, piercing the snake from chin to brain. It wobbled in the air, and then fell as you pulled your sword free and fell to the ground once more.

The massive white scaled head began to flake and turn into black smoke like its twin and you turned, a predatory grin on your face as you leered at the remaining beowolves scattered around the forest clearing you were in.

You spread your arms wide and absorbed the flaking remains of the King Taijitu into yourself with your semblance, "Tell me," you asked of the grimm, "Do trashy monsters like yourselves experience fear?"

You swore you saw quite a few of them step back in terror.

The beowolves were easily mopped up after the King Taijitu, and with your spirits restored, you decided to search out some more.

Though that may have been because just as you were about to decide to head back, you saw the shape of a massive black winged avian scything through the air with its giant wings

A Giant Nevermore.

You'd never actually seen one in person before. As far as Nevermore's went, even Winter didn't have one as a summon. The giant variation at least. She did have hundreds of small variations though that she loved to have surround and disorient her opponents. You'd fallen pray to it quite a few times when sparring with her. It was a favoured tactic of hers to gain a little bit of time to summon bigger creatures to fight for her.

You rushed after it, hacking and slashing apart any smaller Grimm that got in your way. For some weird reason, it seemed to be ignoring you.

It must be an older Grimm then. And knew it was no match for you, as such was fleeing like the trashy coward scum it was.

'I should really get a gun.' you mused as you chased after it. You didn't really have much ranged options beyond throwing your weapons.

As you chased it, sprinting at speeds a car would have trouble keeping up with, a Bewolf jumped from a tree aiming for your throat. You grabbed its throat first and were about to snap its neck when an idea came to mind.

You heaved it and tossed it through the air towards the massive flying grimm. It gave a startled squawk as the wolf grimm slammed into its chest. But, really did no more than that, beyond stopping mid-air to look down at you. The beowolf just didn't have enough mass for it to matter against something of that size.

"Alright then..how about this." you grinned, swinging your arm out and slicing through one of the trees at your side. Your blade cut through it like a hot knife through butter, ad as the tree began toppling towards you, you sheathed your sword and reached deep within yourself. Reaching for that well of primal power you'd had since you killed your first grimm.

The first grimm you ever killed was a beringel. A massive gorrila grimm, and when you did, somehow, your semblance took its form as basis, giving you a stronger form that you could take on should you ever need to.

You felt your muscles bulge and your body become a bit bigger, you felt as the hair atop your head became much longer, dipping down over your shoulder blades in wavy spikes. You felt as hair sprouted from your torso and felt as a long tail sprouted from your lower back

Now, at your very strongest you caught the tree as it toppled. It was almost too easy to carry it with your massively enhanced strength in this form. You could easily lift a bus in this form, never mind a single tree.

You reared the tree up over your shoulder with both hands, and with a roar threw it up through the air towards the Giant Nevermore.

You burst out laughing when the huge avian grimm wasn't fast enough to dodge and gave a squealing shriek of pain as the tree slammed into it right under its wing, clipping it and drawing it out of the air.

You went to draw your sword to finish it off. But a fun idea came to mind. Skill and technique. You had it, and it was good for fighting against others and saving energy and making sure not to get hit yourself. But, in a moment like this? You didn't need that.

And the primal instincts that surged through you in this form, urged you to show your strength! You pushed off, sprinting so fast your form as a blur, and before the Giant Nevermore could hit the ground, you jumped into the hair and shoulder tackled it through a bunch of trees.

It slammed into the ground after breaking through four trees, trembling in pain on the ground while you landed atop its feathery chest. "Hmph, well you didn't last long now did you?" you griped at the human hating creature.

It shrieked and lifted one massive wing and jerked it at you, firing dozens of massive feathers at you. You drew your sword and swung in a split moment, parrying the ones on target for your body and letting the rest slip by.

"Nice try, but no cigar." you smirked, and before it could attack again you lunged forward and plunged your sword into its forehead. And with one last squawk, it died, its wing falling limp to the ground.

"Well that was fun." you chuckled lightly, allowing your primal form to recede and took on your pure human form once again. That was one of the reasons you found hating on faunus pitiful. After all, you were far more of a primal animal than they could ever hope to be.

You spread your arms wide for the last time before you headed back to your provided room for the night at Beacon Academy, and absorbed the essence of the slain Giant Nevermore into yourself.

_______________________

The next morning, after returning to your assigned room for the night, stripping down to your boxers and falling into your bed to go to sleep, you were not awoken by your alarm clock, but rather by knocking on your door.

You had your alarm set for ten thirty AM, since the students weren't due to arrive until the early afternoon. You rolled out of bed, and with a yawn stretched any kinks out of your body before making your way over to the door and opening it up.

You were not expecting the person on the other side.

"Well, this is a nice show," Emerald smirked at you, leaning on your door frame, dressed in the same combat attire from the night before, though looking clean and fresh, "Paying me back for that little illusion show I gave you last night?"

You blinked, and took a moment to gain full waking coherence and realise what was happening, "I don't think it's a fair trade at all, what I got to see was way beyond even my amazing abs," your mouth moved on instinct, you reached down and fingered the the tip of your boxers, "I can take these off to make it a bit more even."

Emerald laughed, "Well, we can save that for later Chadanova," she patted you on the shoulder and entered the room, you looked over your shoulder to see that amazing ass of her swaying almost hypnotically as she checked out the room, "That old guy Headmaster Ozpin told me where to find you and said I could hang out with you up here until all the new students here here."

You closed the door and turned to her, "You sure worked fast," you smiled at her, "And you decided to take my advice huh?"

"Something like that," the dusky skinned beauty shrugged and sat on your messed up bed, "Ooh, this is a nice bed. Way better than the one back at my apartment."

Huh, odd. You thought it was kind of crappy compared to the mattress you had back home.

"Like?" you prompted her further.

"Well it was tempting to take your advice and see about talking to your dad, I remembered a little something else you told me," Emerald sent a smug look your way, "Something about me being the perfect partner for you? Well, I've got nothing else to do, and your company is pretty decent, so I figured I'd give you what you wanted, and so here I am. And I gotta say, that little combat test to become eligible for the initiation? Piss easy, I just had to beat on a few crappy droids, I've had more trouble fighting a few beowolves." she bragged.

Amusement filled you, "Giving me what I want eh? Well, I won't deny it," you shrugged, before smirking at her, "But are you sure it isn't something you wanted as well, you did happily give me quite the show last night after all."

Having her twerk that fat jean clad ass in your face, illusion or not had you rock solid. It was a good thing you had those grimm in the Emerald Forest to beat your frustration out on

Emerald blinked at your words, a surprised look on her face for all of a moment before she recovered, "Well, like I said, you're pretty decent company, so I guess just a little bit," she smirked back, and then wiggled he eyebrows at you, "As for that little twerking thing, it wasn't anything serious. I may look exactly like me, but it was just a little illusion show, and not that much different from you staring at my ass from walking behind me." and as if to prove her point, she clicked her fingers, and a copy of her appeared in front of you, bent low, the curve of her ass cheeks spreading up over the tips of her jeans, a white thong this time trailing up her hips, the little triangle just peeking out over the jeans. A coy smoky look was sent at you from the illusory clones crimson gem like eyes.

It disappeared just as fast as it was there, but the damage was done and you couldn't stop the blood rushing like a freight train towards your groin.

"Having a bit of self control problems the-" Emerald began teasing, before trailing off, her eyes widened as your bulge grew and grew until it was tenting out the fabric of your boxers.

She stared gobsmacked for a moment And an idea came to mind, your smirk growing. You were not at all embarrassed about being naked in front of others. That was one thing that was trained out of you at a young age during your soldier training. On top of that, you were not a virgin. You had not been one for a few months now, since after you won a little bet with Harriet Bree of the Ace Ops and defeated her in a spar. And it was there, you learned you definitely had nothing to be ashamed off, an in fact were vastly beyond the average male specimen, those above average as well even according to Harriet.

You tugged on the hem of your boxers and pulled them down, letting your prodigious, half hard length flop out and hang forward in the air, staring right at her.

"..Holy crap! That things a fucking monster!" Emerald stared in shock, before shaking her head, "Wait! What the hell are you doing!?"

You grasped your length around the base and gave it a lazy stroke, "Well one good show deserves another right?" you replied, "Besides, I thought it would only be fair if I showed what your efforts amounted to."

"Alright, alright I give up, you win," she held her hands up in surrender, a laugh escaping her pretty lips, "Geez, at least I know now why you're so cocky. You've plenty enough cock to spread around."

You snorted, but didn't pull your boxer back up. Instead, you made your way over to your suitcase and opened it up. You felt a gaze burning into you from behind and looked over your shoulder to see Emerald staring at you from the back, face flushed, eyes locked on your backside and your cock hanging below through your legs. When she caught you looking, her face flushed a bit ore, but she merely shrugged, "I mean, if you're gonna just show it all off like that, I won't say no to the eye candy. Girls like to look to you know."

You grabbed out a clean set of boxers and a change of clothes from your suitcases, "Fair enough," you shrugged in reply, before arching an eyebrow at her, "Well, I'm gonna grab a shower, you're welcome to join me if you want."

She rose her arms up and waved them in denial, "Yeah, I'll go with no thanks," she replied, snorting a bit, "I think if I get in the shower with you, a lot more is going to happen than getting cleaned up, besides I already took one back at my apartment before I came up here."

"Well, my loss I suppose." you replied, though you couldn't deny the truth of her statement, and headed towards the bathroom to get cleaned up.

Now I picture a perverted Penny calling Chad Step-bro. Also always good to see Yang start facing some consequences to the whole nightclub incident.

A surprise but not an unwelcomed one, I'm with you in that CRWBY hoed out Ironwood really hard because they accidentally made him too competent after the fall of beacon and they needed drama instead of trying to write a cohesive reason for why stuff happened they just gave him a semblance that fucked his mind up. If you continue this story past the 2 chapters you've posted would live to see more I do like Emerald getting a way out and into redemption early instead of dealing with whiny assasin boy and wannabe bad bitch Cinderella until they show their true colors.

Awesome story as usual man, would love to see you continue it.

"Yes, Ruby Rose," your uncle Ozpin smiled down at you, reaching down to ruffle your black spiky hair fondly, "While she doesn't quite measure up to your ow* talent quite yet, her semblance, skill and sheer potential leads me to believe she will be a very great huntress in the future." found this. own? But amazing work as always Jord! thank you for posting this and have a good one!
