Status Update (Patreon)

Hey! I’m still working on the cutscenes, and the process is going incredibly smoothly. I’ve already completed 6 cutscenes and I’m currently working on the seventh. So far, their total runtime is around 11 minutes.

I’ve finished the intro for Episode 2, and it looks absolutely stunning - exactly how I envisioned it. All the animations are looking great, and the know-how I gained while working on Episode 1 has really helped me streamline the process, especially when it comes to animation cleanup.

Unfortunately, the motion capture equipment I use isn’t perfect, so every animation requires a lot of manual cleanup to get rid of unnatural glitches or sudden "jumps" in the arms, legs, etc. to make everything look as natural as possible. The whole process is going much faster than it did during Episode 1, which is why I’ve already managed to complete 6 cutscenes.

In total, I have 20 cutscenes planned for this episode. Some are longer, some shorter, some are much more advanced, while others are relatively simple. Because of that, it’s difficult to give an exact timeframe for when they’ll all be finished. However, at the current pace, I should be able to complete them in October, if things continue at the same pace as they have so far.

Once the cutscenes are finished, I’ll move on to voice recording and programming - the final stages of completing Episode 2.
