The perfect faro shuffle is a move notorious for its difficulty, but not nearly as tricky as it seems. It's also an incredibly valuable sleight because it unlocks a whole set of material that is otherwise unavailable. Pay special attention to the grips (and to the idea of maintaining the grip throughout the move). Happy shuffling!

PRACTICE DRILLS:

With this move, it's all about repetitions. Initially, don't worry about a perfect split or perfect weave. Rather, just get the feeling of the weave in your hands (paying close attention to the grip, of course). Later on, you can worry about perfect splits and perfect weaves, but even then, your goal is maximum repetitions (with proper technique).

Remember, if you spot a "double" card in the middle of a weave, you can't "fix" it. Instead, unweave the cards and try again.
