In this chapter, we'll learn the Vernon Top Palm (which palms the top card of the deck) and a modified Erdnase Top Palm (which can palm anywhere from 1 - 7 cards). The Vernon Palm does not require a break while the Erdnase Palm does. Hand positioning is crucial, as you'll see from the detailed explanations in the video.

PRACTICE DRILLS:

As I suggest in the video, spend a week or so just getting comfortable holding cards in your palm.

Palm the top card in your right hand using the Vernon Top Palm. Then, replace it on top of the deck using the Billis (tapping on the table) replacement.

Place a small pile of cards on the table with the rest of the deck held in left hand dealing position. Pinky count five cards and palm them in the right hand using the Erdnase Top Palm. Replace them on top of the tabled pile be spreading the pile out as. I demonstrate in the video.
