Note that my microphone cut out for most of episode 8 so I had to use the camera audio, but everything was all good for episode 9!

damn and I was questioning what I’m going to watch before sleep 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Heystax

posted right when i was about to sleep. guess i have to stay up for an extra hour lol

Torrin

I love at least 2 of us were about to go to bed 😭

Btw there was a rumor that kubo got bullied/threats from fans and that's why he bought back Byakuya but that doesn't make sense given how Manga authors (at least back then) submit at least 2 chapters in advance by the time a chapter is released. By the time Byakuya "died" in chapter 513 he would've already have submitted 515 (which is this episode ) so he wouldn't have even seen the backlash for "killing" Byakuya off. This is this same guy that seemingly killed off Halibel and Momo (Twice in Momo's case 😞) but he bought both of them back. Also Kubo himself never bought up anything about being threatened 😭

I’ve been waiting for the next Bleach vid to drop 🔥 One thing I really like about Bleach is that you get to see characters you thought you’d never see again. Even though I wish some characters got to shine more, I love the fun bunch we do get to see.

Now it's time for Musical's Factoid Corner: -You were right about Hiyori and the first mention of Squad 0 -They go more into Unohana and Kenpachi in the next episode. As well as the explanation for the weird jump cut at the end. -Zanjutsu is the way of the sword. -If you look closely at the past episodes with Unohana interacting with the captains, you will see the hints of her being scary. There's alot if shots where the other captains are scared of her. For years I thought it was just a subtle gag, but Kubo was like "Nah. She's actually a beast." -I mentioned the whole Byukaya thing in my comment on the last upload. I feel bad Kubo was harassed into keeping him alive. I would have killed him off in the anime to spite those people, ngl.

When the Fullbringers died they went to the Soul Society just to terrorize you for another arc 💀

Heystax

Everytime unohana was seen on screen with other characters like shunsui, ukitake, and squad 11 members they were afraid/shook by her presence. Even aizen told his lower subordinates to run away when they saw her in hueco mundo. Her reveal is supposed to be more of a shock factor as we given only subtle hints throughout the story.

Elhak

As a heads up for when you're planning on finishing the season, the last two episodes came out together as a special - it's def best if you consume them in one sitting

Torrin

-So regarding Ichigo's broken bankai, That scene was actually a bit longer in the manga. Mayuri explained that The furry captain is the exception to the broken bankai rule (since his body and Bankai are connected if he just heals then so does his Bankai) Also he explained that ikkaku's Bankai is basically super glued together since it broke the last time he used it fighting that lava arrancar 😭 -Yeah you remember Kirio correctly! -I'm surprised you didn't recognized who that was in Hueco Mundo! I know it's been a while though but his voice is pretty distant imo. -Yeah remember when how all of Squad 11 was scared of Unohana? Now we know why 😭 Also fun fact, her Sspecialty was listed as sword fighting in the data book instead of healing in the data books. Also she has like some of the highest stats! NGL I thought were gonna notice Unohana was in the original gotei when the special credits came on. Also their fight is at the same prison that Aizen is at so he probably saw that fight 😭 -So Kenpachi and Unohana have interacted in filler like once and she was the only person that was able to convince him to not fight Ichigo since she needed him with something. Also like... 370 episodes ago Kenpachi told his lieutenant Yachiru that he named her after the person he admired most in the world! -This set really had like 4 big reveals 😭

Ultimate Waifu

“Tensa Zangetsu” (Heavenly Chain Zangetsu) is the name of Ichigo’s bankai

Ultimate Waifu

It was just Ichigo that reacted to the Hot Spring’s guy’s attack, not Renji

Ultimate Waifu

Kenpachi didn’t get beaten nearly as much as Byakuya did; Yamamoto got there just in time? So why would Kenpachi be dead?!

John

It’s always been teased that the other Soul Reapers were scared of Unohana, so im pretty sure most people knew.

Aashir

Knew that she was the first kenpachi? Or Just that she was a lot wiser older or stronger than she let on

gggoos

Members of squad 11 have also been scared of her. I believe it was shown around the end soul society arc or something like that. Hueco mundo arc one of the arrancars just flat out fled from her avoiding battle.

Urhara Kisuke

11:08 You are absolutely correct there.she was squad 12 capitán then she got promoted to squad Zero

Urhara Kisuke

Zaraki admired Unohana so much that he named Yachiru his lieutenant after her if you go back to episode 40 there crazy foreshadowing him saying he admired Unohana.

Suile

Those 3 full-bringers were killed by Zanpakto so their souls got sent to soul society. Also Tensa Zangetzu is the bankai, Zangetzu is the shikai

Yusuf

Yh it's highly implied that most people in soul society did in fact know about Unohana's past or at least were aware of her previous nature. You might not remember but there were various instances in the past where people who interacted with her would be nervous/afraid when speaking to her. And also it would be a bit weird to not recognise one of sereitei's most notorious criminals.

Alex

Kukaku looks like an adult version of karin. She's ichigo and Karin's cousin. Same thing between ichigo and kaien. That family connection has been hinted at for a while
