Yeah squad 9 randomly is in charge of the soul reaper magazine and since Tousen left, his former lieutenant Shuhei has been in charge of running it and the rest of the squad in his place. Also the reason why everyone didn't come to the Human World of because then Soul Society would've been Defenseless if Aizen decided to invade soul society.

In case you didn’t know, the composer responsible for the bleach soundtrack is Shiro Sagisu, who also scored Evangelion and a more recent Godzilla film

Yes. He’s one of my favorite composers. Later on into the series the OST takes a more vocal/choir orchestral spin akin to that of evangelion (as well as the rebuilds). His ability to score for the different Bleach factions based on the cultures Kubo based them on is incredible, like how he composed those Spanish Guitar themes for the Arrancar. On that topic, some basic facts about the Arrancars in case you haven’t found these out already: - “Espada” is the spanish word for sword or saber. This can either be interpreted literally as the ten Espada being the “Ten Swords” but also as the group collectively acting as Aizen’s offensive force - “Cero”, their energy attacks, is a translation of Zero. I always understood it as if they’re reducing everything in their path to nothing, IE Zero. It could also technically be seen as a phonic mistranslation of “cierro” which means “I close”.

I think something u can look forward to to stay motivated to finish the series is my opinion that Shiro Sagisu’s best bleach soundtracks to date are in the new Bleach TYBW arc that’s coming out
