Challenge-Junkie (Personality Trait & Aspiration)

This mod adds a new Challenge-Junkie Personality Trait and a new Self-Made Titan Aspiration.

How the mod works:

I challenged myself and wanted to make something new I have never done before - a Personality Trait mod and as a bonus a new Self-Made Titan Aspiration which compliments the trait. This mod is the result.

Challenge-Junkie Personality Trait

The Challenge-Junkie Personality Trait (for Teens and older) has the following features:

Spawning for the first time with the trait added all household funds will be reset to 0. This can happen when you move the sim into a home after creating them or when you move a sim out of their current household into their own. This only works for sims that live alone in a household (pets don't count), and should only happen once.* NPCs who get the trait added randomly will not be affected as well.

All Skills will level 0,5x slower

All Relationships will increase 0,5x slower

All earned Satisfaction Points will be multiplied by 0,5

All Job Performance progress loot is multiplied by 0,5

Selling Objects will only give 0,5x of the usual value (affects most objects you can sell)

*When you remove the mod temporary and save the game the hidden trait that prevents the household fund reset will be removed and the feature will happen again if the sim has the Challenge-Junkie trait added.

If those changes are too hard or not hard enough, you can also find two alternative traits called Challenge-Junkie (Easy) and Challenge-Junkie (Hard). Only one trait can be added of course.

Challenge-Junkie (Easy)Has the same features as the normal trait but with a multiplier of 0,75 instead of 0,5.

Challenge-Junkie (Hard)Has the same features as the normal trait but with a multiplier of 0,25 instead of 0,5.

The interactions are available for sims with the Challenge-Junkie trait or for sims that have the Self-Made Titan Aspiration active.

All those interactions will give one of various 2 hour moodlets which can be positive and will give a litte boost for Challenge-Junkie sims (multiplier is 0,6 instead of 0,5; 0,85 easy; 0,35 hard), or negative which will make things even harder temporarily (multiplier is 0,4 instead of 0,5; 0,65 easy; 0,15 hard)

Extra Cheat Setting Menu via MailboxAdded a cheat setting menu via mailbox (testingcheats enabled), where you can disable certain features of the trait. 

Random Moodlets

Leveling up a Skill, getting a Job Promotion as well as losing a Job give one of various 2 hour moodlets (Skill up/Promotion positiv, Losing a Job negativ) as well with the same temporarily changes as the interaction moodlets. 

Self-Made Titan Aspiration

You can do this new Aspiration with the Challenge-Junkie trait added or without it, but I recommend to use both together. 

Doing the Aspiration with one of the Challenge-Junkie traits added will prevent the bonus effects of the Knowledge Aspiration Category Bonus Trait Quick Learner to be added (when the Self-Made Titan Aspiration is the active Aspiration).

The Self-Made Titan Aspiration can be found under the Knowlegde Category and has 4 levels with four goals for each level. 

1. The Grind Begins

Earn 500 Simoleons through honest work.

Reach Level 3 in 2 different skills.

Make 2 friends.

Perform Practise Mental Toughness at a mirror 3 times.

2. The Steep Incline

Reach Level 5 in 3 different skills.

Make 4 friends.

Earn a total of 5,000 Simoleons purely through personal effort.

Perform Complain About Daily Grind 3 times.

3. Trial by Fire

Build a "Good Friends" relationship with 3 different Sims.

Perform Research Hardcore Strategies on a computer 5 times.

Accumulate a total of 20,000 Simoleons entirely on your own.

Reach Level 8 in 4 different skills.

4. Self-Made Legend

Reach Level 10 in 5 different skills.

Enter a committed Romantic Relationship (Partner or Spouse).

Reach a household value of 75,000 Simoleons.

Perform Boast About Achievements Without Shortcuts 10 times.

Completing the Aspiration will reward your sim with the Indomitable Mind Reward Trait, which lets negative moodlets (Angry, Bored, Embarrassed, Sad, Scared, Tense, Uncomfortable) decay 20% faster.
