We're safe! While the fire is still burning, our zone has been declared safe. The fire has been moving away which has created a natural fire break and the wind has cleared out the smoke from our zone. It's...very surreal. Just walking around, you'd barely know there was a wild fire at all (barely).

We're staying alert of course, but I just put my computer back together, so I'm gonna try and destress, have some fun drawing. We'll see what I come up with. I have quite a few fun sketches/scribbles to work with.

Thank you all for the well wishes and support! Chat soon!

The Caldor Fire burnt near where I live, and charred a short hiking trail I enjoy. The topsoil is still ash and trees are chalk white or charred. Glad you’re safe. Hope the jackass who started it gets life.

Glad to hear you’re safe

It's a great relief to return home like that after an evacuation, isn't it?

Just wanna say, I love your pic. Super cute! Yay for trans gals! 💙🩷🤍 Signed, a fellow trans smut fan 🩷😁

I was honestly worried about y'all. Very glad to know you're safe! We had a wildfire start up just outside of town. Nothing quite says summertime in Northern Colorado like orange skies. 😶‍🌫️😷

Remember to rest and drink fluids. If possible, try to make sure you get plenty of fresh air.

Yay!! Glad you and yours are safe. Wild fires are nothing to joke about, we get one at home about every 3 years.

Another nasty one. Glad you made it through unscathed. From what I’ve heard, someone saw a someone light their car on fire and roll it down a hill. Waiting to hear more.

Yep. The cause of Park was a white male who lit his mother’s Yaris on fire and dumped it in a ditch, then walked away. He’s in custody now while evidence is gathered.

Glad you are safe

Never experienced a wildfire (I live in a big city, or what passes for a big city in this part of the world), but I can imagine the trauma that comes with being forced to flee one's own home for any reason. I've also traveled around California a fair bit, and I know how susceptible these forests are to going up in flames. Sad part is - the scars in the landscape will remain for years; decades, even. Wonder what that's gonna do to property values. :/

Glad you all are ok! Hope the fire will die down soon so others also will be safe.

Glad to hear your home is fine.
