Honestly can't determine the level of droll sarcasm v expressed interest regarding the detailed reports. I get she's not emotive, but the lack of any expression is ambiguous...would expect to see at least a hint of smile or blush, or else some eyeroll.

I'm not sure if Elie's reaction is to realizing what she just said, or the rope yoiking (or both). I'm not sure if Val's reaction is from feeling the ropes through the clothes or from processing what Elie just said). I guess next page will tell.

Val’s pretty stoic, so it can be a challenge. Val is definitely letting Ellie know that if she wants to talk about it with her she can and that she doesn’t have to be embarrassed about it.
