Two more to go!

This is how Val rolls.  Me as well, at least when I'm running Call Of Cthuhlu.  I always incorporate music, props and hand outs, and yeah, I will dress for the occasion (such a nerd).

How bout you?  Do  you play?  What's your game?  And how do you roll? ;)

Doing this comic in full color really slowed the process down, but I think I've picked up on a few more ways to expedite the work.  We'll see if it helps with the next page.

Hope you're all having a great week!  Chat soon!

I watched the D&D movie a couple weeks back, and now I want Val to introduce a pudgy dragon...

hehehe, she goes all out XD I wish I had people to play with. I'd like to do D&D, a lot of the stat and number crunching can be overwhelming. So I use it more for making character for sexy misadventure ideas. One game I'd love to try out is Vampire the Masquerade. It has a heavier focus on Role play, and you only have a handful of dice and stats you need to keep track of. Plus, I really love urban fantasy.

Oh I so want Val as my DM now! Mostly I play online via Foundry or Roll20. It's great for tactical combat (which I love) but sadly you really do lose the ambience that you have with a bunch of friends sat around a table rolling dice

Props and sounds are needed imo, doubly so when playing horror. I don't do minis generally but the last game I ran was Kult back around Halloween and made a jello cocktail that tasted like blood and smoke for a demon to share with the players.

Looking good as always! I approve of the Skyrim dragon text on the box!

My friends and I typically play Pathfinder here at our house every weekend. Custom settings with a few GMs taking turns telling their story every other week. If I went into the plots for what we're currently playing, this comment would probably hit a character limit (beyond the wall I'm already dumping just to describe our setup). 😅 We have minis for combat, and we have two kinds of 3D printers in the house to create said minis (resin printer) and extra props (PLA filament printer). My girlfriend likes to paint the minis during the week between games. Also, HeroForge is as hell of a drug. In our living room, we've a huge conference table that is nigh-immortal (got it from a local legal firm that was closing down that has had that table since 1980) with rolling chairs on two sides and couches at the other two sides. Also have a Bluetooth soundbar on top of the cabinet in the living room for music, and we recently put smart bulbs in the lights in the living room to tweak the ambiance. Have Google Home routines for certain things. We're not quite to Val's level of immersion, but we do our best with what we have. 😊

I've never played D&D--the whole thing looks sooo complicated to learn! But Val & company certainly make it look fun. Can't wait to see their campaigns gradually turn into "Tolkien with more S&M bondage"! ;)
