March Game Plan and Poll Schedule (Patreon)

Welcome Back guys... 'nother month, 'nother grindstone, but always, more lewds.  Here's the game plan to keep you all in the loop: 

This week, I've chosen Gwen to go first and get another helping of content from her last batch, you know bc she went halfsies with Loona. So expect that this friday. Theres a WIP out now so Lanterns have some idea of whats included although you can probably guess. Depending on the amount of poll art chosen Loona will go next as long as it doesnt compromise quality. 

So this week we have our first poll, Lanterns start thinking:

March 4th: Champions Poll #1 : Tambry, Priyanka, Summer Smith, Nani Pelekai, Lapis, Marceline

Decisions decisions... More Priyanka x steven? Dipper might keep sneaking out of the shack to everyone's bemusement, Kinky Summer playing with her boy toy, Nani finding new work, More passionate Marceline x Finn or Lapis paying Steven a visit? Lotta choices and it doesnt let up the week after that.

3 goths in one poll? it will be a battle for the ages. I’m voting for loona, she might not win but i can hope.

Well thats why I alternate and offer multiple polls, not to mention the new character ones.

Either way Loona is getting more content this month, and Marie might count as a 4th.

To be fair, offering multiple categories of polls really only allows 2nd (and maybe 3rd if there's a trend influencing it) placers to win. If they mean the lower half of the voted options by "less voted," then that's not really going to let them ever win any more than the original polls they appeared on (especially with the surge of patrons recently making each individual vote count less). That doesn't make it bad or anything since the people get what the people want. I'm just piping in because I've seen these debates about polls where one crowd constantly wants one thing but never gets plurality support often and figured I had something useful to say about it.

Well I think its also fair to point out that theres only so much I can realistically do. Everyone from all sides asks for more characters and bc I want to eventually draw everyone I alternate the choices, shelf some for a time, offer multiple chances etc. Its a marathon not a race, Gwen, Priyanka and PB had very little votes in their first polls but that changed over time. Not to mention that while the amount can fluctuate, generally these polls produce a lot more than just a pinup or something. Is it perfect? No , but its what I can do.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to criticize you or anything. Obviously you are jam-packed every month (and if you still do commissions that'd be even more work). I was just adding my small bit more on the principle of talking about votes than saying it indicated anything bad about your polls. That's why I specified "that doesn't make it bad or anything" and mentioned that I was only talking because I've seen these debates on multiple media creators before (visual art, fanfics, reaction videos, etc). It's a common compromise to satisfy the most amount of people and there's nothing negative about that. There being "eternal minorities" on a few things is just a fact of polling and can't be meaningfully addressed barring the creator themselves intentionally choosing to do something that would never win (which isn't applicable in your situation due to time contraints).
