You might notice a few major 2000s comedies missing from the list. That’s most likely because I’ve already seen them, I've already covered them, or they’re being saved for something else. This isn’t meant to be a definitive list of the best comedies of the 2000s :)

It must be my Old Man Genes kicking in. I don't like any of these. But, I'll dive a little deeper and see if there's one I might choose.

Unlike some of the past War Movie Polls, I’ve seen every single one of these at least once (and one of them only once). I’d be happy to sit along and laugh with you with almost all of these (except one). But my top 3 choices (in no particular order) are Anchorman, The 40 Year Old Virgin, and Wedding Crashers. Each one is packed with laughs, each one has a ton of quotable lines, and each one pushes the boundaries of raunchiness. And sometimes just looking at Will Ferrell (Anchorman) and Steve Carell (The 40 Year Old Virgin) makes me laugh.

I picked Wedding Crashers (not bad), but would be nice to get a classic comedy poll sometime -- Modern Times (1936), It Happened One Night, The Thin Man (1934), A Night at the Opera, Ball of Fire, Singin in the Rain, Some Like it Hot, Roman Holiday etc (But I completely understand that these 2000s films attract viewers and subscribers, so it's good to add them to the mix!)

Napoleon Dynamite for the win. Gosh!

Napoleon Dynamite and Step Brothers are what I picked. Both quite different but awesome in their own way. I love Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. Reilly has done some amazing roles that are not comedy (one that comes to mind is A Perfect Storm) but he excels in comedy roles. In my oh so humble opinion, lol.
