Spider band member redesign!! (Patreon)

OKAY OKAYY remember Scott, our fishy band member who i redesigned a few months back?? this is his bandmate Zero! a Spider hybrid species and the only insect of the team! (everyone else is some kind of fish)

this one took a little longer since i was trying to find a better fit for the vocals of the white fins but im pretty satisfied with his look now! SO Zero is a very introverted character, he keeps to himself and tends to hide his spider appearance from the public insert the long unkept rocker hair.

Zero has 4 arms and 4 eyes! used to have 6 eyes but he always looked goofy me thinks. anyway he can talk but because of his insect features he uses sign language to communicate! he can purr and his skin is soft like spiders furr, very velvet and short. when you run your fingers across his chest it will leave lines like how you rub your velvet cushion.

Like Scott he was made with a BUNCCCH of other characters but the white fins band survived out of it. Zero is a little bit taller and a bit skinner in the hips with a broad back compared to Scott who's a little beefer all round.

NOW his lore is complicated and somewhat related to Jason whole thing. ive been trying to find a good way to explain it but basically there are TWO teddys. There is the blue one (made of ice + jelly) we see with Jason and there is a human version but he has grey hair and some scars/electronic lines across his face. His name is Sonar.

When Teddy was kidnapped by Dr King, he was held and experimented on in a way to separate the body from the soul and manifest the soul into its own thing by keeping teddy in a frozen pod kind of thing. Jason never found this. And during the times when Teddy hadn't returned Jason met this Sonar character who looked an awful lot like his Teddy but his personality was cold and calculated. more scientific and a bit of a tsudare. they became a little thing before Teddy came back to Jason and they worked it out. Sonar didnt mind but decided he wanted to live his life away from teddy and be his own person. After a White fins concert Sonar met Zero and they became an item. Jason hated this as he saw Sonar as his Teddys body being used and that he still had the right to love him and make his Teddy a whole person or something (hes delulu)

Sonar is Teddys body and logical mind while Teddys ice body is his soul and emotions. When blue boy teddy is awake Sonar is asleep (although he can feel/see what teddy does in his dreams) but when Sonar is awake Teddys body freezes in whatever position its in like a mannequin and has to wait until Sonny is asleep again to move. Its very upsetting to Jason as he cant have his Teddy fully in any way, he cant feel him he cant bring him back together. the man cant catch a break LMAOO

So Jason kind of hates Zero for being his Teddys partner even though sonar is his own person. Zero is indifferent and understands Sonars condition and is totally okay with Sonar dealing with his complicated feeling towards Jason since he loves/hates him.
