Part 9: The First Time
Quan Law felt that gaze fixed upon him. Amid the opulent gala of the business elite, where powerful figures clinked glasses and exchanged polished smiles, someone was watching him. For reasons unclear, Quan Law sensed this observer was unlike the others. As if… he wasn’t fooled.
His gaze on Quan Law wasn’t that of someone eyeing a woman transformed by tragedy. He looked at Quan Law as if he knew exactly who Quan Law was. Of course, Quan Law wasn’t Thalia Lee, the role he was playing.
Friend or foe, Quan Law couldn’t tell. So, he could afford no slip-ups. For now, he’d ignore the man. Quan Law smiled, nodded, and engaged each guest who approached with the effortless charm he’d honed to instinct.
While smiling and chatting with those before him, Quan Law’s mind was on the stranger still watching him relentlessly. He had to uncover who this man was. What did he know? Was he an ally to aid Quan Law, or another player intent on burying him deeper in this charade?
Quan Law’s movements could deceive nearly everyone—except one. Haze Thomas. So focused on the stranger, Quan Law didn’t notice Haze doing the same: smiling, talking to others, yet his mind always on Quan Law.
“Are you worried about something?” Haze Thomas ignored a guest approaching him and drew near Quan Law. Quan Law froze. Slowly turning, a cold bead of sweat slid from his brow. Haze Thomas stared, his piercing eyes seeming to unravel every thought in Quan Law’s mind.
Quan Law smiled softly, resting a hand on Haze Thomas’s chest—a tender gesture he knew Haze favored. But nothing seemed to slip past Haze Thomas, as if deception itself had never been born. His eyes flicked around, swiftly spotting the man who’d been watching Quan Law, now fixated on his wine glass to evade Haze’s gaze. Quan Law’s breath caught. He sensed something ominous looming.
The party dragged on for another hour. Haze Thomas returned to his business associates. Quan Law stood alone—Thalia Lee’s company was gone, leaving him with little beyond polite exchanges at the evening’s start. Then, Quan Law’s gaze met the stranger’s. The man gave a slight nod, a subtle signal meant for him. He wanted to meet, and likely… he knew the truth.

The car reached the villa past midnight. Haze Thomas dragged Quan Law to the room with haste, almost roughly, drawing a faint groan from him. Gone were the soft compliments, the feigned tenderness. Haze stared at Quan Law for a long moment, as if searching for something in his eyes.
“Seems like tonight you couldn’t take your eyes off another man, hmm?” Haze Thomas pressed.
“I… I…” Quan Law stammered, grasping for words.
Haze Thomas chuckled. He leaned down, lifting Quan Law’s chin, “Before this party, you still knew how to please me.”
The next words nearly stopped Quan Law’s heart: “But not anymore!”
Haze Thomas’s grip tightened on Quan Law’s waist. In the dim glow of the bedside lamp, he shoved Quan Law onto the bed. The force drew a faint moan from Quan Law—half pain, half helplessness. The wine-red evening gown, shimmering like fresh blood in the room’s hazy light, was torn off by Haze Thomas, the sharp rip echoing in the still silence.
The silk gown slipped away, baring Quan Law’s smooth, pale shoulders, faint blue veins visible beneath taut skin. Haze Thomas leaned in, his scalding breath grazing Quan Law’s neck, lips brushing lightly yet possessively, as if claiming every inch of his flesh. Haze’s rough hand slid down, caressing Quan Law’s slender waist, fingers tracing the curve Quan Law had labored to perfect.
Even a fool could see what was happening. Haze Thomas meant to break his own rule—no intimacy with his wife until Quan Law was ready. This was Quan Law’s deepest fear, for though his mind was increasingly molded to a woman’s, he knew his body remained male, at least in two critical ways.
Suddenly, as Haze Thomas’s hand slid over Quan Law’s lower body, he felt an undeniable stiffness beneath the thin women’s panties. Quan Law’s erection, though confined by the delicate fabric, defied its wearer, rising boldly. Panic gripped Quan Law; his tear-glazed eyes shimmered, lips clamped to choke back a sob. Haze Thomas paused, his piercing gaze scanning Quan Law’s face, but in a fleeting moment, his lips twisted into a smile—half ruthless, half alluring.
“Oh…” Haze Thomas uttered a single, cryptic sound, leaving Quan Law unable to fathom his thoughts. But his next move spoke volumes. His fingers slowly traced the length of Quan Law’s cock, freeing it from the women’s panties. Each deliberate, provocative stroke forced Quan Law to bite his lip until it bled to stifle a moan. Haze Thomas laughed, a husky sound echoing in the dark, then tore the panties apart, fully exposing Quan Law’s trembling lower body.
Haze Thomas leaned down, his lips grazing the tip of Quan Law’s cock, his tongue swirling lightly, making Quan Law jolt, hands clutching the bedsheets. Though Quan Law knew he shouldn’t, pleasure surged fiercely within him. It had been so long since Quan Law had released, no chance afforded him.
Haze Thomas’s taut body pressed against Quan Law, their heated skin colliding, friction sparking provocative sounds.
Haze Thomas lifted Quan Law’s legs, resting them on his shoulders, his gaze locked on Quan Law’s flushed face and tear-brimmed eyes, fear and desire intertwined. Haze entered, slow but unrelenting, feeling Quan Law’s body clench tightly around him.
Quan Law bit his lip, pain searing through him, a anguished moan escaping his mouth, hands clawing Haze Thomas’s back, leaving vivid red scratches. Haze Thomas ignored the superficial wounds. He began to move, each thrust powerful and deep, as if claiming all of Quan Law.
The slap of skin mingled with ragged breaths and rustling sheets, weaving a primal symphony. Sweat dripped from Haze Thomas’s brow, falling onto Quan Law’s delicate chest, blending with the scent of their bodies and the lingering perfume of the crumpled red gown beside them.
Quan Law slowly relaxed, pain morphing into a strange pleasure. His body responded instinctively, hips rising to meet Haze Thomas’s thrusts. Quan Law’s eyes blurred—tears or ecstasy, he couldn’t tell—only that in that moment, he wholly belonged to Haze Thomas.
Haze Thomas gripped Quan Law’s hands, fingers interlaced, then quickened, a relentless rhythm shattering all boundaries. At the climax, Quan Law cried out, body trembling violently, while Haze Thomas let out a low growl, collapsing, their heavy breaths mingling with pounding heartbeats. Silence enveloped the room, leaving only their entwined, sweat-soaked bodies and the wine-red gown, a mute witness at the bed’s edge to the storm of desire just passed. Quan Law’s long-pent release now streaked across Haze Thomas’s abdomen, while Haze Thomas’s filled Quan Law almost entirely.
As the ecstasy faded, Quan Law jolted with dread—how would he face Haze Thomas now?
