Part 1: Club Activity

“Hey guys, how about we go on a trip somewhere? It's been a while, our club didn't have any special activities!”

In the Foreign Language Club's office, which seemed overly tranquil, a voice easily caught the attention of the rest of the members. The person who just asked the question is Duffey, one of the core members of our club! Oh, okay... Actually, with a size of only six members, I guess any of us could be called a “core member”!

Foreign Language Club is a club at CSW high school, specializing in studying, learning and researching about different languages in the world. Unlike me, who joined the Foreign Language Club in the first semester of 10th grade, Harlen only joined at the beginning of 11th grade. Before that, he didn't belong to any club. Usually when school is over, Harlen will go straight to the dormitory and not go anywhere else. That's not uncommon for a shy guy like him. That's why, at the beginning of 11th grade, when he asked me about joining my club, I was quite surprised.

“I need to improve my weak personality! I did some preliminary research on the Korean language. I will definitely be actively participating in club activities. Tristan, will you help me?”

Of course, there's no reason for me to turn down a new member to this “remote” club! A club can only operate and receive funding from the school if the number of members is at least five people. Around the beginning of my 11th grade year, the club had more than ten people, but seven of them were 12th graders. That means, when they graduate, the Foreign Language Club will only have five members left. Obviously, this is not a safe number!

I almost laughed again because of Austin's narcissism, but it is undeniable that the members of the Foreign Language Club all have very good looks. Of course, this is not our self-recognition.
