Mod installation; RDR2 issue (UPDATE: Release 1.5.2 is attached) (Patreon)

A brief post to cover two issues that are coming up with some frequency.
Mod installation: recently I made a lot of updates to the mod, and I didn't have any time left to keep the README current. So, it might be difficult for users to find information about the correct installation procedure. It's actually very simple, just three steps:
1. if this is your first time playing the game, run it (either Mafia: DE or RDR2) in 2D at least once without the mod, to have the game create the folder where it stores the user profile and settings;
2. unzip the mod archive (currently REAL_mod_by_LukeRoss_v1_5_2.zip) to the folder containing the game executable, i.e., RDR2.exe or mafiadefinitiveedition.exe. When extracting, make sure to overwrite any files left over from previous mod installations and to keep the folder structure intact, so for instance if you're using WinZip both "Overwrite existing files" and "Use folder names" should be checked. There is no need to move folders or files around manually, and if you do the next step won't work correctly.
3. run RealConfig.bat and select your preferred configuration. That's it. The batch file will take care of the rest.
RDR2 UPDATE: the issue that I was mentioning in the following paragraph should be fixed with release 1.5.2 (attached at the bottom of the post). Please check it out and report back whether it works for you!
RDR2 with mod release 1.5.1: some users are reporting a problem where 1.5.0 works correctly, but 1.5.1 no longer works with RDR2. I am as yet unable to reproduce the issue on my system. The obvious workaround is to revert to 1.5.0 for RDR2, but I certainly would like to understand what's going on.
I suspect that the problem might be tied to the game launcher. I have the Rockstar launcher version and it works correctly. If you have the Steam version of RDR2, please report in the comments whether it works for you with 1.5.1, and if you have the issue with another launcher please provide some details about your configuration!
