The issue here is that Mark has no reason to trust Cecil now. He has been spying on him he has been lying for years now. He has no reason to trust Cecil and it's Cecil's fault. Mark lashing out now shows Mark didn't break into the Pentagon last time. He entered normally. Cecil escalated this to the point where there is no return.

Hey y’all I love yall reactions but keep in mind mark isn’t a halfbreed Nolan said back in season one that since viltrumite dna is so pure Mark is nearly full blooded he’s like 10% human and 90% viltrumite that’s why the viltrumite general gave mark Nolans job of conquering the planet they see him as one of them.
