Can I say, that it wasn't best, but it also wasn't the worse. It wasn't on par with The Flash, or Umbrella Academy, or hell even GOT. It had some sort of satisfying payoff. The season ain't feel like it tho. We can atleast hope that Vought Rising is great enough that we sacrificed a good last season of The Boys. Overall: 7.5/10

I'm positive Vought Rising ss1 would be good. The issue with many shows nowadays, however, is that they started great but never stick the landing.

Limitless

True! We can only hope.

For anyone wonder how this ends in the comic, you can see below. Of course, major spoilers if you want to read the comic. Before I talk about the ending, there is one major difference I need to address first: all members of The Boys were injected with V in the comic nearly from the start, so all of them have super power. The Supes were messed up, but the team's restraint of not injecting V is a show-only thing. So, let's talk about the ending. The actual trigger of the comic ending is the death of Terror, Homelander did that to piss Butcher off. They met at the Oval Office, and here's where the twist revealed: Tre's right, Noir is Homelander's clone. The messed up part was that Noir revealed that most of the evil stuff Homelander did, especially what happened to Becca, was his doing, not the actual Homelander's. Now, don't jump the gun that comic Homelander was good, he was still a psychopathic sadistic narcissist piece of shit, but his personal beef with Butcher was forged, because it was Noir, his clone's doing. After that bombshell of a reveal, Homelander went at Noir's throat and they fought, then Noir actually won, albeit severely injured after that. Butcher then caught up to him and finished him off with a crowbar, like what he did to Homelander here. The thing is, at that point comic Butcher was too far gone, and with his dog gone, he has nothing left (Ryan is a show only character). Then he planned to kill all Supes, but he went as far as killing Kimiko, Frenchie and MM first because he thought they would stop him. Hughie was the final line to stop Butcher, and he did. It turned out that deep down, Butcher wanted someone to stop him. Hughie and Annie survived at the end. Oh, the Deep survived too. And no, the comic Deep is not like his show counterpart at all. He was actually a serious and disciplined kind of guy, and it's also why the rest of the Seven do not like him. So overall, I think the show is better than the comic, especially the first 3 seasons with more character development and twists. The ending in particular though, the comic did it better.

Starlight always been bullet proof , remember butcher shot her with a .50cal in the chest 😭

Lilac Flute

I will say Butcher shot Annie point blank in front of Hughie in s1 or 2, it was in a park or something.

Below is the summary I found on Google lols The Homelander Twist In the final arc, The Bloody Doors Off, Homelander leads a superhero uprising to take over the White House. He is confronted and ripped apart by Black Noir, who is revealed to be a genetic clone of Homelander secretly created by Vought. Black Noir is also revealed to be the true perpetrator of the horrific acts, including the rape and murder of Butcher's wife, Becca. Butcher then finishes off the heavily injured Black Noir with a crowbar. Butcher's Rampage With Homelander and Black Noir dead, Butcher's unquenchable thirst for revenge morphs into a genocidal mission to purge the world of Compound V. He builds a supe-killing biological weapon to wipe out everyone who was exposed to it—including innocent civilians and even his own teammates. When his teammates (Mother's Milk, Frenchie, and The Female) try to stop him, Butcher murders them all in cold blood. The Final Showdown When Hughie discovers Butcher's plan and confronts him on the roof of the Empire State Building. During a brutal fight, Butcher is severely injured and partially paralyzed. Realizing he can't be stopped, Butcher mentally goads Hughie into killing him so he won't be imprisoned. Hughie stabs Butcher with a sharp metal railing, ending the saga.

Nobody remembers Annie is bulletproof 😂 Season 1 Butcher shot her twice in the chest with a shotgun in the park and she was fine

The Gen v characters not have a point is the worst part of this... If they do make a sups affair spinoff then i hope it's about Marie and the others
