The new Avatar series that is coming out is a continuation of the avatar franchise. It takes place after The Legend of Korra so if you haven’t seen that series yet I highly recommend it.

JJ

imma put a hit out on paramount leadership. cuz why they playin

Lilac Flute

I won't say too much cause y'all need to watch The Legend of Korra but Appa is the last of his specific heard, obvi, but notice how the new bison have more lines on their pelts. This ties real well into Korra whenever you start YASSSSS

Kat

I don’t recommend watching the new Avatar trailer until both you guys have seen Korra💀

Also, if Aang is alive, there is no other avatar who would have witnessed the airbender slaughter because of the reincarnation cycle, cause Roku died on the volcano when Sozin was like, "Now all my plans are possible." Then Aang is born, and in 12 years Sozin's comet, which is why the Airbending elders told him before he was 16. It still breaks my heart that Gyatso, after the meeting Aang eavesdropped on and ran away right after, Gyatso goes into Aang's room and says, "I won't let them take you away from me," meaning we could've had Him teach Aang but also, Aang wasn't trynna learn the more advanced techniques because Gyatso was like "I'm Aang's teacher" XD Also, from the comics and stuff, Sozin is the reason most of the firebending we see when we start ATLA is even a thing, like he rediscovered all the lost firebending like lightning bending and I think that was one of the reasons he wanted to "Expand". And he learned this all from Wan Shi Tong's Spirit Library. I LOVE this series. Glad y'all enjoyed the movie!
