They hoed Rhaenyra in this show, and I absolutely hate it because she supposed to be a ruthless leader as she should be cause people were trash around her and then the loss of her kids, so she was not the woman to be fcked with and stayed that way to the very end of her life and now they portrayed her so horribly it disgust me. I can admit Rhaenyra was not a perfect ruler or even a person in general because like most characters she was morally grey. But she was a bad bitch and stayed a bad bitch and idk wtf they are doing to her.

They've said it countless times that Vhagar is a she, just like Syrax, Meleys, Silverwing, Dreamfyre, Tessarion, and Moondancer lols I can't say my reasons for hating this Merger of Rhaena and Nettles, because I don't know how this show is going to end so I'll wait. They also merged the septon with a septon who is one of five accounts of the dance of dragons. And even George said he's the MOST unreliable source and there are only two out of five that are more accurate because there's little to no bias. The 5 historical accounts: Grand Maester Orwylle - biased Grand Maester Munkun - biased and based on Orwylle's account Septon Eustace - biased Mushroom - "right more often than not" - George RRM Archmaester Gyldayn (he's the one from a century later) - has all views and sides, most reliable telling of the Dance There are people missing from this story, events being skipped over, and dragons not being talked about, dialogue given to different characters resulting in this show's weird fanfic writing. I fear it will NEVER stick the landing. Game of Thrones had grace because the books stopped after Jon got stabbed but this is getting harder to ration. Alys I suspect is a woods witch who love potions and GRRM shows implicitly how magic is present in this world and then tries to obscure it with differing accounts of what happened lols Magic (we won't see most prolly ever): Alchemists‎ Greenseers Maegi Necromancers Red priests Shadowbinders Skinchangers Warlocks‎ Woods-witches‎ When I say it's supposed to be GHETTO no letting up off the gas, like I really wish I didn't refresh on the story beats for this earlier today. Criston having a 1 to 1 book death but everything else being....well a choice, was a CHOICE. The real drama is just reading the wiki of the plot stuff. Also Rhaenyra's death is an animated bonus feature in the Game of Thrones Season 5 Blu-ray, it's 20min or sum.

I'm tired of them changing things. One big reason I gave this show a try after that horrible ss8 GoT was that they said this would base on completed books, so there would not be dumb plots and butchering of character development. Now it doesn't even matter anymore.

Tasha, his death here was almost the same as his demise in the book. Yes, the point was not giving him the satisfaction of dying valiantly and having an epic battle before dying. The difference was that he said the lines "I'm the realm greatest warrior" and "people will sing songs of my death" right before his death, and the Rivermen basically said nope, no songs for your b@#$%ss and turned him into a porcupine with arrows.

I think that even though Cole’s death was pretty much the same as the book, it was still unsatisfactory in the fact that it happened so quickly… and the character who shot him hasn’t said a single line of dialogue throughout this whole season despite her being a popular book character. We don’t even know her name in the show lmao.

Also, I’m sure that people have already told you guys, but this whole Rhaena storyline in the Vale is absolutely nonsensical and is NOT what happens in the book at all. The writers really made the Velaryons black, erased the CANONICALLY black character(Nettles) from the show, and still treat them like garbage.

And, sadly, I saw an interview with the actors who play Aegon and Jace, where Aegon's actor said something like he doesn't want to read the books because he doesn't want to know what happens to his character........if it's a TV adaptation and you take this job, WHY WOULDN'T YOU READ ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER for a VERY beloved franchise. And now they're painting different characters in different lights on set because they film certain dialogue for scenes and then they cut it from the final, and now actors like Fabien for Criston Cole are in interviews like "I was sad they removed this dialogue, this one moment of humanity for the character". The showrunner is pissing me off; the edits are pissing me off. They showed a snippet of the relationship between Vermithor and Silverwing. He was also accustomed to men. Having had a previous rider, Vermithor was tolerant of the presence of people and more accepting of new riders. Vermithor often coiled with Silverwing in the fields near Tumbleton as they showed, but they hoed the Dragons not only in vibrant scale colors, but their flames matching their scales. I WANT TO SEE RGB FLAME BATTLES........ISTG if Balerion the Black Dread doesn't have BLACK flames with ribbons of RED in the spin-offs, I will be done and will just re-read the books (I also need to buy them as I read them while in middle school XD)

The whole point of the Dance of Dragons is that you are not supposed to "root" for anyone. All of the key players are trash in the end...Rhaenyra included.
