Hey bananalings!First of all - thank you, deeply and truly, to everyone who’s still here. Your support means more than you can imagine, and right now, it’s what’s keeping me afloat. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your understanding.
This past month’s been rough.I lost over 20 patrons, and while some new ones joined (which I’m incredibly grateful for), it wasn’t enough to keep things stable. With Instagram absolutely throttling my reach, fewer people are discovering my work — and that makes growth even harder. I get it, no one owes me their support forever; that would be very entitled of me to expect. People come and go, and that’s normal. But I won’t lie - this kind of drop really hurts. Financially, emotionally, and practically.
Right now, I’m in survival mode: juggling commissions, lack of sleep, and trying to keep the lights on (and the cats fed, which turns out, is very expensive when you have three fluffy food vacuums xD). With the current numbers, I won’t be able to cover things like insurance and groceries next month. And that’s... scary.
Because of this, my schedule has slipped. I haven’t been posting NSFW content or early access updates on time, and everything’s been a bit all over the place. It’s not because I stopped caring, quite the opposite. I’m just constantly shifting between freelance work and trying to stay above water. And honestly, the stress has gotten to the point where it’s affecting my health.
I’m not writing this to guilt anyone. And I hope it doesn't sound like whining, I tried to stay constructive. I just wanted to be honest with you, because you deserve that and because I just wanted you to know what's going on atm. I’m still here, still creating, and still hoping to build something stable. Something that lets me make more content and rely less on emergency commissions.
Thank you for sticking around. It really, really matters. You're the reason I'm still able to keep going.
