Long Story Short is available on Steam + Clarifications (Patreon)
Content
Hello again, everyone!
As I mentioned before, I'm so excited that Long Story Short is now available on Steam! It took a while, but I hope it will be worth it! Thank you all for being patient with me, and I promise to make it worth your while!
First, I'm going to post the links for the full V0.9 version in a different post (I'll pin it).
Second, I'd like to address some frequent questions that may have been unclear from my previous posts.
The Steam version is the same as V0.9a, but it includes the missing animations, new Jenny scenes, and the two paths (Joe rival and Ann hate) that were paused at the start of V0.7.
I mentioned in my previous post that I paused payments for October, so if you plan to continue supporting me, I'd really appreciate it if you purchase the game on Steam and leave a positive review. It really helps bring the game to more people.
If your total contribution is above the Steam launch price ($9.99), you can request a Steam key from me—just contact me, and I'll provide one.
For those blocked from purchasing the game on Steam (e.g., in Germany), you can still use a key to launch the game; you're just restricted from accessing the store page.
I understand that some people prefer not to have adult games on their Steam account, so here is what you can do:
You can set the game to private and hide it from everyone.
I’ve also opened an Itch.io page. If you'd prefer, you can request a key for that store, and I’ll provide one. It’s the same as Steam and will give you access to all future full releases.
You can upgrade your tier to the Playa tier and get the game from here.
With that out of the way, the main question is: Why should you continue supporting me on Patreon/SubscribeStar?
I will continue posting alpha/beta versions here, while the full versions will be available across all platforms.
And just a reminder, if you're on a tier below the Playa tier, you won’t have access here to the full release because Steam doesn’t allow the game to be priced lower than theirs.
For Playa+ tiers, nothing will change—I’ll post the links here, and everything will remain the same.
For lower tiers, if you don’t want to upgrade and get the links from here, don't forget that the key will give you access to play the game through Steam or Itch.io.
I believe this is fair for everyone and even improves the experience.
If you feel it's not, please leave a comment or contact me directly and I'm sure we'll find the best solution for you.
Thanks again for your support and for sticking around!
Cheers, 🍻TTrick
