Quick update (Patreon)

Hey, it's been a while, so I figured I'll post a quick update regarding my progress and plans.

The active discord member can skip most of what I'm about to write because it was already mentioned there.

First thing first, I went ahead and paused the payment cycle for September.

Secondly, right now, I have some kind of a "milestones system." My plan is to achieve a working demo as soon as possible to get it out there for people to test to see if it holds up and if it's stable on all devices. 

That means that I'm gonna postpone some of the minor features LSS currently has (not something that will change the story), for example. Right now, when the MC checks Insta in his room, you get a desktop version of Insta, oppose to other places (bed or bar) when you get a mobile version. So in the first version, you'll only have the desktop version.

Infrastructure

most of the infrastructure is ready. Right now, you can do all the basic stuff you do in a VN.

(view texts, images, animations, partial images, and most importantly, rollback)

There are some minor bugs when changing from partial image to full image (but it's not game-breaking, more of a minor annoyance, so I'm gonna postpone it as well for now.

The things I need to get done to complete my first proof of concept demo:

The main menu.

The main screen.

Save/Load. - screen + features.

Settings (to give you guys the ability to skip unseen text)

Game features:

Insta - Mainly done, just some final tweaks.

The phone - (when you get texts and images).

Phone to pick images for the Insta (Ann last version) - maybe I'll postpone this one as well and manage that scene differently. (don't quote me on that one)

Vanessa's post.

I've already gathered all of Vanessa's renders I wanted to share, but every time I started to write the post, I stopped in the middle and went back to coding because I'm eager to finish the infrastructure.

But if it's something really important for you guys, just tell me and I'll make time for it.

Things are looking bright. I hope to finish it as soon as I can.
