Hey there people, sorry for the lack of posts...I've been in a awful mood lately, feeling this terrible dread every time I sit down and try to draw something, I get anxious, shaky and feeling like I need to run away.It took me almost the whole month to complete just the sketches for my YCH clients, so I'm way behind my schedule which further complicated things for me 'cause I feel like I'm letting everyone down, like I don't deserve to be in the position I'm in and the crap emotional roller coaster just spirals down... I think I need professional help at this point.Sorry for the negativity bomb.On a happier note, it was fun working on this piece once things started to come together, the sketching and composition part were a bitch tho.

I wanna use this bit of positive energy I have to tackle the previous post 'cause looking at it again after so long I don't really like it anymore =/Edit: Added trans version too

Don't worry dude, these things happen to a loot of people; just the fact you were okay to talk about it at all is a good sign. On a whole another note, I really like this piece; I've been looking forward to another savannah/tribal piece from you for a long time! Keep it together man!

Speaking from experience working with you and a general observation, I'm sure people would prefer it if you conveyed taking a break and get back to drawing when you're more level headed. The quality of the work reflects it exponentially. Dont need to be absent by any means and still give updates to how you're being would go a long way so we know what to expect.

Your own health comes first. It's a terrible spiral when you feel bad because you're not finishing something, and that feeling makes it hard to work on it, leading to feeling even worse. It's something I've dealt with at stressful jobs in the past, and the way out is to accept and communicate that you can't work on something until you've had a chance to take a break and decompress. Drawing should make you happy, not feel like a chore. That said, this piece looks great and I'm glad you felt good working on it.

Try exercise/physical activity! I mean that in the most non-condescending way possible. I had pretty terrible mood swings until I changed my diet and started taking walks every day. Literally forces your body to produce the "feel good" hormones. You can also try meditation while exercising which is pretty relaxing too!

I would not complain if you did alts more often!

I get where you’re coming from broski. It’s rough too when you feel like you’re not as good as people think you are and drawing something feels so much more difficult than you’d prefer it to be. Imposter syndrome is very real, and even when you get very good it will come at you now and then. Especially with you, you’ve set the bar very high for yourself, and you do wonderful work. You are one of *the* reasons I started drawing. You inspired me. Know that no matter what you do, you are very beloved in this community. Don’t ever feel guilty about taking a break. If you’re not feeling it, then stop for the day and commit to relaxation.
